Everything is Changing

The Visit

    I walked up to the door and asked who it was.
    "It's Aaron. Is that you, Maggie?" Aaron asked. I opened the door.
    "Hey Aaron! Come on in." I stepped aside. He walked in. I closed the door.
    "Hey Maggie. Umm. Will sent me." Aaron explained.
    "Okay. Why?" I asked.
    "He wanted to know if you were playing Capture the Flag tonight or helping in the infirmary."
"Oh well..." I looked back at Nico.
"Work in the infirmary. I'll probably end up there anyway. Whether on accident or on purpose, I don't know." Nico said. He smiled at me.
"Okay. Will you tell Will I'll help at the infirmary? Please?" I asked Aaron.
"Sure. I'll see you later." Aaron waved bye and left. I locked the door behind him.
"I'm surprised they haven't come looking for us yet." I turned to Nico, who was laying on the bed.
     "Me too." He said. He moved around so he was hanging upside down on the side of the bed. I walked over and joined him.
     "How long, do you think, until we pass out from all the blood rushing to our heads?" I asked him.
     "I don't know." He laughed.
     "You're the medic here, my smart girl." He tried to caress my face but ended up almost falling. I laughed.
     "What should we do?" I asked. He rolled over and sat up. I just put my head back on to the bed. So I was laying on my back on the bed.
     "I don't know. Maybe..." He started to lean down. "This."
     He was just about to kiss me when the dinner bell rang. He looked down at me. I laughed. Then he started laughing.
    "Wow! I tried. I really did try. The dinner bell kind of killed the moment." He was backing away.
    "You can still kiss me dummy." I yelled at him.
   "Okay then. Come here Smartie." He leaned down and kissed.
    After the kiss, we started to walk towards dinner. When we got there Nico and I got our food. I gave some to every god I could think of and even the ones I couldn't think of. I believed all the gods and goddesses were important and deserved the smell of food. Nico did the same because he knows what it feels like to be left out and he does not want anybody else to feel that way. I sat at the Big Three table with Nico. Percy came and sat down.
    "Where were you guys?" Percy asked. I looked at Nico and gave him one of the play along looks. He nodded.
    "Well we went back to the Hades cabin." I said causally.
    "Who else was there?" Percy asked. He seemed a little irritated.
    "Just Nico and me." I said. Now he looked angry.
    "What were you guys doing?" Percy asked.
    "Nothing bad." I said. I looked down to make it seem like I was lying. Nico played along and looked down at his food.
    "You both are liars!" He said, kind of loud.
    "Fine. You want to know what we did?" I asked. He nodded his head. "We kissed. That's it. You are too gullible bro." I started to laugh and Nico did too.
    Before Percy could say anything else, Chiron stood up and got everyone's attention.
    "I would like to introduce the two newest members of Camp Half-Blood, Aaron and Micha, sons of Apollo." Chiron announced.  
     Everybody started to applaud. I looked back at the Apollo table and saw Aaron and Micha. Aaron was already looking at me. I smiled at him and applaud. After dinner, Nico and I split ways. I ran to the infirmary to get ready for tonight. The Ares cabin was one of the captains so there was going to be a lot of blood shed. The other team captain was the Athena cabin. So, like I said, bloodshed.
    When I got to the infirmary it was empty. Will must be held up at dinner. I gather the bandages and the cleaning supplies for cuts. I got the hospital beds ready. After five minutes I was done. Will walked in and so did Aaron.
    "Hey Maggie!" Will and Aaron said at the same time.
    "Sorry we are late. But now we have to get everything together." Will said. The conch shell sounded, which means the game started.
    "I already have everything ready." I said. All of the sudden Nico came in.
    "I hurt my...umm...ankle." He said.
    "I'm sure you did Neeks." I walked over to him and gave him a kiss.
    "Look! It's a miracle. I'm healed!" Nico exclaimed. He leaned down and kissed me again.
    All of the sudden there was a knock at the door. I went over and opened the door. Standing in the doorway was Poseidon, Hades, and Apollo. I moved aside except when Apollo tried to walk in I tried to shut the door.
    "Very nice Maggie." Apollo said.
    "The best for the best." I said sarcastically. Nico came up behind me and put his arms around my waist. He leaned down and whispered in my ear.
    "Don't murder anyone." He said.
    "Fine." I said out loud.
    "What?" Apollo asked.
    "I think my son just saved your life." Hades explained.
    "How?" Apollo asked.
    "By stopping my future daughter-in-law from killing you." Hades said nonchalantly.
    "Dad!" Nico yelled. I started blushing.
    "Don't even try to deny it Nico! I may be a god but I have eyes." Hades said then paused. "And besides, Aphrodite will not stop talking about you two. She squeals and screams a lot. So..."
   I turned back towards Nico. He was blushing. I was blushing even harder now. Someone cleared their throat. We turned back to the gods. I realized I was the only girl in the room right now.
   "So I guess you are wondering why we came." Poseidon said.
   "Actually, yeah. Why are you here?" I asked.
   "Well we need to talk to you." Hades said.
