Nico's Point of View
"You're welcome." I said.
I hugged her. I was just glad she was finally out of pain. It must have really hurt. Maggie yawned. She tried to hide it but I caught her and so did her mom.
"Are you tired?" Her mom asked.
"A little." Maggie said. She was lying.
"Well, a lot of pain does take its toll on you. Both mentally and physically." I remembered after she fought Ouranos. "Why don't I take you upstairs?" I asked her.
"Okay." Maggie said.
Her mom finished wrapping her leg up with gauze and bandages. After she was done, I picked Maggie up carefully. I carried her to her bedroom. When I finally got us upstairs, I sat Maggie down on her bed. I leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"I love you." I said to her. She looked up at me. She looked happy and upset at the same time.
"I love you too." She said. I turned away to leave, to let her get some rest. She grabbed my wrist. I turned back around and gave her a questioning look.
"Please stay with me." She whined. She never whines. I looked at her and laughed.
"Yes. How could you tell?" She gave me a questioning look.
"You whined. You never whine." I said. I sat down on the edge of the bed to try and convince her to get some rest.
"You should get some rest." I tried to convince her to rest.
"I'm not that tired." She said. She was tired. "And I want to watch a movie with you. And spend time with you." She looked down at my hand in hers on her lap. She started to play with it. She's too cute. "We have barely spent anytime together since the fight with Ouranos. I mean we couldn't really but I want to now before something else comes up." I couldn't say no to that.
"Okay. What do you want to watch?" I asked. I walked over and looked over the movies she had on the bottom two shelves of her bookshelf. She had The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and many more.
"Corpse Bride or The Nightmare Before Christmas. It doesn't matter." She said.
"Are you sure you aren't a child of Hades?" I asked. I hope not but she fits the stereotype. I put the DVD in and went to sit on the bed with Maggie.
"I hope not." I said.
"That would be weird." I said. Maggie grabbed the remote and fast forwarded through the previews.
"But I might be soon." Maggie whispered. She probably thought I didn't hear it.
"Yep. You might." I said.
"You weren't supposed to hear th—" She stopped. Then a look of realization came across her face. "Nico?! What do do you mean?"
"Well, it's not like I'm not in love with you. I am. I will love you to the end of time. And even if I don't marry you, Hades will invite you to every family dinner. He absolutely loves you. Every time I went down there since I met you, he would ask about you." I explained to her. We were both laughing.
The movie screen popped up. We started to watch it. The first song came on, According to Plan, and Maggie was singing it. I was looking at her. She was so cute. One time she turned and saw me looking at her so I turned back towards the movie. I could feel the heat in my cheeks. She didn't say anything. Then when Victor was saying his vows in the forest, she was reciting them word for word along with him.
"I love you." I turned to her suddenly and said.
"I love you too. But why?" She asked. She looked confused.
"You just do cute little things. I love it." I said. And it was true.
"Thanks babe." She said to me.
Maggie leaned up and kissed me. I kissed back. Maggie sat up more and pulled back a little. I looked at Maggie. And not how most boys look at girls. I look into Maggie's eyes. They were beautiful. They are hazel. But it's a equal balance of brown and green, with a hint of blue in the mix. She was looking at my eyes too. Maggie is just amazing.
"Can I kiss you again?" I asked. I just wanted to have her in my arms. She laughed a little. It was adorable.
"Of course." She said.
I leaned down and kissed her again. I started to kiss her more so I put my hand behind her head to cushion it. She put her arms around my neck, which gave me the chance to pull closer. I put my arms around her waist and back and pulled her closer. We were really close. She continued to kiss me and I continued to kiss her. We were just about to start kissing more when there was a knock at the door. Maggie pulled back, out of breath, and sighed. She went over and opened the door. And guess who it was? Yep, that's right. It was Aaron. Great.
"Hey, Maggie." Aaron said.
"Hey, Aaron. What do you need?" Maggie asked. She was really nice to everyone. I would have pummeled him by now.
"Your mom said to tell you to come down in ten minutes for dinner." Aaron said.
"Okay. We'll be down in five minutes." Maggie told Aaron. Aaron left and Maggie shut the door. Maggie walked back over to me and sat next to me.
"So. Where were we?" Maggie asked. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
"Umm...I think we were right here." I said as I kissed her. She laughed into the kiss. This is why I love her.
"I hate to break this up but we have to go down before my mom sends a whole search party after us." Maggie said.
