Maggie's Point of View
"Owww!" I groaned. I looked up to see Percy over top of me. He was hugging me.
"Maggie. I thought I wouldn't get to see you again." He was crying. I hugged him back.
"Percy. We should stand up." He looked up seeing the weird position we were in.
He stood up and pulled me up. After he pulled me up, he hugged me again. We just stood there hugging for about five minutes. Jason came over too. He joined the hug. I just stood there, glad I had two amazing brothers. They weren't actually my brothers but they acted like it. After a little, we separated.
"Don't ever fall again. We could of helped you." Percy said. Not really.
"Okay." I said simply.
"You should get some rest." Percy said, hugging me one last time.
"Alright goodnight." I hugged him and Jason.
Nico and I walked to my room. I grabbed my pajamas and changed. Nico went to his room to change into pajamas then he came back. I grabbed a book from my duffle bag. I sat down and read for a little bit.
     "What's wrong?" Nico asked me.
"Nothing. Why?" I asked. How did he know something was wrong!
"You have a look on your face." He said. I turned away. "Maggie, what's wrong?" He turned my head towards him.
"Nothing. Just something that confused me in my book." I lied.
"Okay. Well we probably should get some sleep."
"Okay." We both laid down, facing each other. "Goodnight. I love you Ghost King."
"Goodnight. I love you Ghost Queen." He kissed me.
He put his arms around me. Eventually he fell asleep. I couldn't. So I got up, put on flip flops and a hoodie, and closed the door quietly, trying not to wake Nico. I went to the deck and looked around. No one was there. Everybody was probably tired after what happened yesterday. When they rescued me and had to escape before the whole thing caved in. They probably didn't sleep at all last night. They were probably just all asleep now.
I walked over to the railing and stood there thinking. How can I trust anyone anymore? One of my best friends just kidnapped me and said he wanted me dead. Then cut my arm open to raise the Dark Lord, as some of the demigods at camp called him. And he was about to kill me. Percy, Nico, and the rest of them saved me from him. And he just stood there while Ouranos tortured me. And now I can only think about someone betraying me again.
"Maggie?" I jumped and turned around.
"Percy. You scared me." I said.
"What are you doing here?" He asked sleepily.
"I could ask you the same." I said. "I thought you would all be asleep after what happened yesterday." He looked confused.
"Maggie, how long do you think you were gone?" He asked. He stepped closer which made me take a step back.
"Like a day. Why?"
"Maggie." He paused. "You were gone for three days."
"No. That's not possible." I said. He stepped closer. I stepped back.
"Yes. And why do you keep backing up?" He asked.
"No reason." I was against the railing now.
"Maggie it's okay. You can trust me." He said.
"What if I can't?" I whispered.
"What?" He looked confused.
"What if I can't trust you? Or anyone for that matter." I yelled.
"Maggie, why wouldn't you be able to trust me?" He asked. He put his hands in front of him now. As if he was approaching a dog. He slowly moved towards me.
"Because I trusted Jax. And he was my best friend. Do you know what he said to me?" I waited for an answer but he just shook his head. "He said Ouranos made a deal with him. He could have whatever he wanted if he followed Ouranos. And all he wants is me dead. There are two people out there trying to kill me. And anybody could hand me over to them at this point." I was crying.
"Maggie..."
"It's bad Percy. I have anxiety. And it's so bad I can't even trust Nico. I was questioning if I could trust him. NICO!!" He was now a foot in front of me.
"Maggie we aren't going to hurt you." He said. He took my one hand and pulled me away from the railing. "Not me. Not Nico. Not Jason. We love you so much. More than you can imagine." He pulled me into a hug. My knees gave out and we both went to the ground. So we sat on the ground and he hugged me while I cried into his shirt.
"Maggie?!" It was Nico and Jason.
"Percy what happened to her?" Jason asked. They were both already kneeling by us. Percy still held me.
"She doesn't think she can trust anyone after what Jax did. Apparently he wants her dead. And he made a deal with Ouranos. That if he did as Ouranos said he could have anything he wants." Percy explained. They all started hugging me.
Maybe Ouranos was right. What if this is him wearing me away? What if he was using Jax to wear me down? What if I was breaking? I can't break down. Nico, Percy and Jason were counting on me. I wouldn't give up. I'm fighting this. Even if Ouranos and me both go down. It will be worth it to know they are safe.
"Thank you." I said to them all.
      "For what?" Jason asked.
"Thank you guys for standing by me during this entire situation."
"It's really taking its affect on you." Nico said. I nodded.
We just sat there and talked for two hours. I told them how I was feeling. We actually told each other how we were feeling. After tonight I felt much better.
