Percy's Point of View
"Who the Hades is that?" I asked angrily. I pointed to the guy holding on to Nico's shoulder.
Nico shrugged the hand off his shoulder and moved out of the way.
"Percy..." Maggie said in a whisper that broke my heart. She was basically my sister. "...his name is Jax. And he's my...friend." She said.
"What's he doing here?" I asked irritated.
"He wanted to come." Maggie said in the whisper again.
"My poor sister!!" I exclaimed as I went over to her and gathered her in my arms carefully.
"Percy, she's not fully healed yet." Nico said as I took her.
"Then why did you bring her?" I asked, looking him straight in the eyes.
"She wanted to come back and see you guys." Nico said. "And she looked sad so I couldn't say no." He confessed.
"Fine but she should probably get som—" I didn't get to finish before Maggie said something.
"I can't see." She said.
"Maggie, what's wrong?!" I set her down on the deck and kneeled next to her. Nico followed and pulled her into his lap. I moved closer to be next to her.
"No, please!" Maggie yelled. Something was happening that we couldn't see.
"M-M-Maggie?" Nico's voice was barely a whisper.
"Please stop! He don't deserve this! Don't hurt him! PLEASE STOP!! Take me instead." Maggie started to move.
She was trying to get lose from Nico's grip. He let her go. She started to scream out in pain. She held her stomach and turned on her side. I didn't notice but I was crying and so was Nico.
Nico grabbed her again and held her next to him. He was sobbing into her neck.
"Maggie...I'm so sorry...I never...STOP DOING THIS TO HER!!" He yelled the last part at the sky. When he did Maggie stayed still. She turned her head towards Nico's.
"I'm sorry." She said then fell unconscious.
Maggie's Point of View
"Fine but she should probably get som—" Percy started to say but I interrupted.
"I can't see." I said. An image appeared.
It was of Annabeth and me. We were in a dark, scary hall of a cave. We walked along. Then it skipped to Nico and me. Nico and I were back to back fighting monsters. I slashed at a Manticore while Nico took care of the Minotaur. I slashed at the second Manticore when I heard a cry of pain. I turned around to see Nico with a huge cut on his chest. The Minotaur was coming towards me and I killed it. I went to run to Nico but my feet wouldn't move. I looked down to see my feet covered in roots.
"No, please!" I yelled trying to break free from the roots. It was no use, they wouldn't budge.
All of the sudden Ouranos appeared.
"I thought I would use a demigod to make me stronger." He looked at Nico then continued. "This son of Hades looks like an excellent choice." He started to cut Nico even more. He slashed at him lightly cutting his skin and making him lose blood even faster.
"Please stop! He don't deserve this! Don't hurt him! PLEASE STOP!! Take me instead." The tree roots came undone. Ouranos approached me.
"Fine but if you do this I'm killing you with a long, painful death." He stated. I nodded.
The image faded away. The new sight in front of me was Nico. I looked into his eyes.
"I'm sorry." I said then blackness overtook me.
When I woke up again I was in the hospital room of the ship. I looked around and saw no one around me. So I have to go through this again? I got up to walk and felt a sharp pain shot through my left leg. I looked down to see a huge gash with stitches. I walked out to the hall careful not to put too much pressure on my left leg.
I got to the dining hall and heard arguing. Just like last time. But this time I walked in slowly and made sure no one saw me.
"This is all your fault!" Percy yelled pointing to Jax, who was one foot in front of Percy.
"My fault?! What about Nico? If Nico had just let her fight Ouranos we wouldn't be here right now!" Jax yelled back. Everyone else just sat back watching until Jax said about Nico. Nico jumped up and stood beside Percy.
"I stopped her to keep her safe. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have let her go!" Nico said, tears in his eyes. "It may not be your fault but it certainly isn't mine!" Nico yelled, a few tears rolling down his face.
"You're just trying to take the blame off yourself because you love her and don't want her to hate you!" Jax yelled.
"She loves me too! She told me! And she also told me about you kissing her!" He said. I could tell he was trying to calm down but Jax was making it worse.
"Why are you guys fighting?" I asked. Everybody turned to face me. "I'm okay. And that's all that matters, isn't it?" I asked.
The three boys gave me a blank expression. I turned away and walked/ jogged back to my room. When I got there I slammed and locked the door. I sat on my bed trying to clear my head when I heard a soft knock on the door.
"Go away!" I yelled.
"Maggie?" It was a familiar voice but I didn't know his name.
"Who is it?" I asked curiously.
"Jason." The voice said. He was the one with blond hair and electric blue eyes.
I got up and went to the door. I unlocked it. When I opened it, I pointed inward and he walked in. I shut and locked the door.
"You're not going to murder me, right?" He said with a nervous laugh.
"Depends. Why are you here?" I asked.
