Marie's POV
So today was just one of those days where I was just feeling more confident than usual, maybe it was Calum's comments last night or his this morning when he texted me.
From: Calum
i can't stop thinking about you and those damn shorts
I smiled to myself, reaching my hand over and pausing the YouTube video playing on my computer.
To: Calum
i guess we can come over later today
Not sure what "later" was because it was literally 3 in the afternoon.
From: Calum
the sooner the better
I rolled my eyes at Calum's response and pushed myself up out of bed. I picked up the black shorts from last night and put them on, but the pizza already took its route to my thighs apparently and I wasn't feeling it. So I pulled them down and instead went for a black skirt that was above the knee but still hid a majority of my thighs. I pared it with a black t-shirt that I pulled up a little and a blue jean jacket over it all.
Great. I just pulled my hair out of the ponytail and walked out of my bedroom door with my phone in my hand. I didn't bother with eating as I wasn't that hungry and just continued to walk. I surprisingly remembered where Calum lived, mostly because the memory of falling face first onto his lawn still haunting me.
I walked up to the front steps and rang the doorbell, he answered dresses in black jeans, a shirt with flames all over it - promoting a band I didn't recognize, and a grey flannel.
He rolled his tongue in a way that made my insides melt. "I prefer a skirt" he shrugged grabbing me by the waist and pulling me in, shutting the door before pushing me against it and kissing me hard.
His hands trailed to the back of my legs and started rising and right before they reached the brim of my skirt I pulled away. "Buy me a drink first, sweetie." I flipped my hair around and sat on his couch, turning on the TV. Calum sat down next to me, wrapping his arm around me as we focused on the random TV program that appeared.
Calum's POV
"Marie, you make me so impatient and so angry yet so intrigued. I'm running at an dead end." I said trying my best Nicholas Sparks, self recorded audio book impression.
She just smirked, but more of a adorable way and sat back against me. After an okay episode of Boy Meets World I grabbed the remote and turned the TV off quickly, and then turned to Marie. "So, it's been one week since we made that list, you know. Time is passing, so we better start checking things off." I said getting up and picking the notebook off of a counter and bringing it back to her on the couch. Marie took the notebook from my hands into hers and started flipping through it until she found the page. Her brown eyes scanned it from top to bottom, looking quite un-impressed but I knew it was good for her.
"I don't know, Cal. I still don't understand why we even have to do this?" She sighed, tossing the book onto my lap and returning my head onto my shoulder. The nickname "Cal" distracting me a bit. "Marie, you have to try. Here will start with something simple" I picked up the notebook. "Uh... make out?" I suggested and Marie laughed, "of course you would suggest that" she rolled her beautiful dark eyes.
"But it's great. Make out, then tonight we hit your first party" I smiled and Marie's expression switched from interested to worried. "Oh, no, I don't wann-"
"Sorry babygirl, you have too, that was one of the important ones. I'll be with you the entire time, you'll be fine." I told her, rubbing her knee exposed by the skirt she was wearing but her expression didn't change back.
"Don't look so worried" I chuckled, wrapping my arms around Marie's neck and engulfing her into my large frame. My neck was buried into hers and she smelt so damn good, i ran my hands through the hair o the left side of her head, flipping it to the other revealing her neck. I pressed my lips against her warm neck and I could feel her flinch a bit but ease into it. Soft moans started escaping her lips.
She slowly brought herself down and I climbed on top of her, drifting all around her neck. Once I pretty much marked her enough I drifted down to her collarbones and the brim of her t-shirt right before Mali walked straight through the door.
She was dressed in a tight purple dress and a pair of heels that clicked against the tiles when she walked and was tightening some gold bracelets around her wrist. Her hair blowed out against her chest bounced when she walked.
"Hey, Cal. Have you seen my- oh Jesus Christ!" She screamed covering her eyes whipping her head around to face the kitchen. I pushed myself off Marie and sat to face Mali, a small smile on my face from the previous actions. Marie shot up resting her right foot against the inside of her left thigh. Her hair lightly ruffled from my hands.
"Oh, umm... hey. Mali" I said smiling am apologetic smile. Mali slowly turned around. "Uhh.. Hi." She imitated my voice, "who's this girl that your sucking?"
"Oh. Um. This is Marie. My uh......"
My... girlfriend? well we've known each other for coming up 3 weeks now, and got to third base and I don't have anything to prove we're not other than
what I just said so.. Oh well.
"-my friend. Marie this is my sister Mali." I smiled.
"Hi."
"Hey" Mali gave her a slight wave and nod.
"Oh well, go upstairs atleast, mom wouldn't want to walk in on that. Nice to meet you, Marie. Have a great day!"
