"Okay. How do we get out of this place?"

I asked. "Let's find out" Tess replied. I turned my flashlight on, positive that there weren't any infected in the area, yet. "So Marlene thinks you're immune?" Tess asks Ellie. "Well, that's what she believes" She replies. I jump up onto the next floor, which the girls were already on. "Well how were you bitten? You must've been somewhere you shouldn't to find an infected in the zone". "Yeah, I'd sneak out. I was in this military boarding school". I saw a workbench, where I set my backpack down, ready to see if I had enough parts for some of my guns. I chose my 9MM pistol, and use some of the parts I had found to make the reload speed faster. I also saw that I had enough parts to improve my fire rate, so I did that as well.

I looked at all my guns and all the screws, and decided I didn't have enough for anything else, so I packed everything away and put my backpack back onto my back. I looked around a corner, in between a broken car, and found some pills, but that was it. I opened the next door which led to something that looked like an abandoned stock room. I picked up a pistol shell, and put it into my gun, ready to use if anything happened. There was nothing else, really in that room, so we carried on into the next. There were broken display cases, and bits of ornaments on the ground. I guessed that the place was a museum.

Luckily I found a few useful supplies, rags, alcohol and a pair of scissors next to more rubble. "Ow, shit" Ellie said, knocking over a vase. "Sorry. Sorry. That was me" She admitted. "Tess" I sighed. "Sorry" Ellie said again. "C'mon. Stay close to me" Tess told Ellie. We all climbed up onto the rubble, which like others acted like stairs, or a slope to the next floor. My suspicions were cleared, this place was a museum, it was obvious by looking at the face statues and faded paintings. "Aw shit" I moaned as the quickest way out was blocked by wooden planks and large cabinets, too heavy to move. "What is this place?" Ellie asked as she looked at all the paintings upon the wall. "It's an old museum. Some of these things are hundreds of years old" Confirmed Tess. "Really? Wow".

We ducked down, under more rubble, and I got hold of a plank blocking the way, "Alright, watch your head" I said, pulling it up so that they could get through. "Hurry. Go, go, go" I said as the plank was incredibly heavy. Suddenly the ceiling collapsed and a ton of rubble blocked me from Tess and Ellie. "Joel. Joel" Tess shouted. "I'm alive" I reassured them, "I'll make my way around to you" I said. "Oh... Look they're here" Tess shouted as a loud clicking noise echoed from the room. "Run. Run!" Tess shouted, pushing Ellie along as they ran to a safer place.

I went round the other way, looking around the corner, to make sure the clickers weren't close. As I moved forwards I could see at least one clicker, even without my flashlight on. I quickly, without a doubt, decided to make a shiv, knowing that would be the simple, and most quiet way to kill it, or them. I edged into the next room so that I could get behind the clicker, but it had turned around. I decided to kill it seeing as I was extremely close, and it worked. As I went back into the room there was another clicker, which could have been there when I entered.

As it came closer to me I backed up, accidentally knocking into a stand, luckily I was going slow so it didn't make much sound at all. I quickly made a decision to set it on fire using a Molotov as I didn't have enough parts to make a shiv. The clicker quickly went up in flames, I hope that the fire would kill it fast so it wouldn't make too much noise. Even though my caution a clicker did come, it walked close to the fire, as much as I hoped it would step into the fire and die, it didn't, instead it just walked away and the fire went out.

I threw a brick close to me so that the clicker would come close enough to kill, but it didn't want to seem to turn around so I could kill it. I didn't really want to waste any more time, so I left the room and went into the next. I headed up a staircase, going slow so that i didn't make barely any sound at all. As I went into the next room, taking caution with each door, I walked in on a runner pounding at a locked door, moaning with each thump. I snuck up behind it and quickly strangled it, I didn't need to be extremly quiet as I killed it as there were no other infected in the current room.

"Ellie stay back" A voice said, from the other side of the door. I knew it was Tess straight away. I kicked the door down and saw Tess killing a runner. I rushed over to her, "I'm fine" She said. "Guys get in here" Ellie shouted, "The girl" Tess said, already running to her. We found Ellie fending off a runner, I was able to smash it around the head, but another runner came as well after hearing all the sound. Suddenly there were four in the room, Tess took on one and I killed the rest.

After that more came in, it was hard to fend off all of them, but we were able to kill them all. "That was too damn close" I muttered. I made a quick health kit to use as I had a few cuts on my arms, but nothing major. I jogged over to where Tess was waiting for me and asked, "Tess, you holding up okay?". "Just a bit winded" She replied. "This way. This'll get us to the roof" She said, climbing out the window. "How 'bout you, kid? You okay?" I asked Ellie. "Define okay" She replied, as we also jumped out the window onto some metal stairs. "Are you still breathing?" I rephrased. "Do small, panicked breaths count?". "Yeah, they count" I replied as we climbed the stairs. "Alright. Then i'm okay". "We gotta find a way across" Tess said, looking around for something.

"There she is" Tess said, "That's our building". It was clear to see a large building with a golden roof, it seemed quite a long way away, but closer than before. I found a large, sturdy plank and placed it from the building we were on, all the way to the next rooftop.
