The Last Of Us (Fan-Fic)

Summer- Chapter Two- Part 11 Military

We both did behind the same table. One of the men was approaching us, not even knowing we were there. I quickly snuck up behind him and strangled him.  We were invisible to the others as there was a large pillar in the way for them to see anything. I threw a bottle so someone would come, but no one did, maybe they knew my tactics.

I hovered into the room where one man was. I had to be careful not to step on the broken glass as I knew he would hear me. When he had his back turned I quickly grabbed him and then strangled him to death. When I looked up another guy was in front of me, I had no choice but to shoot him, and it only took two shots until he was dead. "Stay with me. C'mon" I told her, gathering more pills. 

I didn't know exactly how many more guys there were left, but I knew that one was close. I threw a brick for him to come close, and he did. He suddenly emerged into the room we were in, so I pushed him to the ground and stamped on his face. We continued down the hallway, and then down some stairs. "Stay down, I don't know how many more there are" I told Ellie. I could see another group of men which I would have to take out up ahead, they were moving close, so I would have to act fast.

As the man moved closer I strangled him, not having to waste any ammo or shivs. As I moved into a dark room I hadn't seen another soldier. I punched his face, and then his stomach, moving him towards the wall made me able to push his face into the wall, killing him. The other men must have seen as they started to shoot, but were unable to hit me as  the room was so dark. 

Luckily we were able to get out of that situation and hide behind another table. There was another soldier who came along, I had my gun out so I hit him to death with it. I picked up the three shells he had on him and went forwards. Now I could hear two, but I didn't know if that was all of them, or just a few. Either way I was going to kill them. 

There was a soldier close, and he slowly made his way up to where I was making it possible for me to strangle him, and I did. I went into the next room where there were two soldiers. I heard a brief discussion where I could hear that they had no idea where we were. It would be hard for me to shoot them if I had to as they had armor, but I was planning to stealth kill them if I could. 

I planned to make them come to me using a glass bottle, but I didn't have one so I went into the next room to find one. Unfortunately there was none, but I did find some useful supplies. "Joel. There's the exit" Ellie whispered. "I see it" I replied.

I quickly killed a soldier in the way by kicking his chin and then his head. We escaped, but a soldier followed. I aimed for his head and shot him until he died. We went down some stairs and jumped down. "They're going into the subway! Stop 'em" Someone shouted. Now we ran, as they started to follow us, and we could hear their gun shots from afar. I could see the spores up ahead, so I quickly put my gas mask on. "Get down" I told Ellie as I could hear sounds up ahead. 

"There's a soldier over there" Ellie said. "How the hell are you breathin' in this stuff?" I asked her, noticing that she wasn't wearing a gas mask. "I wasn't lying to you" Was her reply. 

Another soldier came into the room. "Did you spot 'em?" He asked. "No. Place is empty". "Search the area. Let's find them and get the hell out of here before clickers show up". I listened closely and was sure that there were only two of them in the area we were in. I took the first out using my strangle technique, although the other soldiers almost saw what was happening. The soldier went out of the room, but then surprisingly turned around and came back into the room.

As he continued forwards, I slowly caught up to him and was able to kill him as well. I turned my flashlight on, sure that there were no more around. We had to go through a train to reach the other side though.
