Chapter Fourty-Five

Athena's POV

Pan goes back to his camp after a while of standing in front of me. I go and explore. I suddenly run into the most feared person in the world. The queen. "Come with me." She says. She takes my wrist and starts dragging me. "Where are you taking me?" I ask. "To the ship." She says. I stop and she tries to pull me, but I'm a little too strong for her."come on." She says. "No, I'm not leaving Pan behind." I say. Pan suddenly appears and I struggle myself free from her grasp. I run to Pan and pull him close to me. "She's trying to take me. Don't let her." Pan strokes my hair trying to calm me down. I start tearing up and crying in his arms. "Can you give us a minute?" He asks. She nods and then goes away. "Athena, I think you should go with them." I didn't understand what he was saying. "What? I don't understand." I pull away from him, looking in his eyes. "You will be safer with them than you will with me." He says. I nod and turn to go. "Wait, Athena." He steps forward and grabs my wrist. He pulls me to him and leans in and kisses me. I pull back and go without saying anything.
