Chapter 9

When we arrived at Drew's house he phased back heading inside going to grab me, and Alexa clothes so we stayed outside waiting on him.
"He's super nice! I wonder if he's you're mate," Alexa mind links me.
"I doubt that. I would of sensed it if he were my mate, and besides Lexis would of told me," I respond right as Drew comes outside with some clothes.
"I hope these clothes are ok," Drew says as he turns around while we phase back getting dressed. Once we both are dressed Drew turns back around looking like he's going to burst out laughing.
"What's with you?" Alexa asks crossing her arms over her chest.
"Sorry, but you both look so cute with guy clothes on. It's just so funny," Drew admits while we go, and head inside.
"Woah. It's huge," I gasp looking around the house.
"You haven't even seen out back. There's more houses out there," Drew says.
"Drew!" I hear a familiar voice, and I see Chase walking towards us with Alpha Jim.
"Hello Alpha Jim, and Chase," I smile.
"Hello Clarissa. What are you doing here?" Chase asks me.
"Well...," I sigh.
"What's wrong Clarissa?" Alpha Jim asks me.
"Well. There are these rogues chasing after me," I admit.
"Who is their leader?" Alpha Jim asks.
"His name is Alpha Darwin Frisk," I reply as he instantly growls.
"Darwin," Alpha Jim repeats still growling.
"Dad do you know him?" Drew asks him.
"Yes. He's an old friend of mine," Alpha Jim replies.
"What's going on?" I hear a woman ask as I look over seeing her walking towards us.
"Meredith what are you doing up? I told you to rest," Alpha Jim says as he puts his arm around her waist kissing her head.
"Good morning mom," Drew smiles.
"Hello my son," Meredith smiles back at him looking over at me, and Alexa.
"Who are the girls Drew?" Luna Meredith asks.
"This is Clarissa, and her friend Alexa," Drew says.
"Hello," I smile.
"Hi," Alexa manages to speak out.
"Hello girls. You are both so beautiful. So what brings you to our lovely home?" Luna Meredith asks.
"There are rogues after Clarissa, and their leader is Darwin Frisk," Alpha Jim says.
"Darwin? I thought he was dead," Luna Meredith says.
"Apparently not," Alpha Jim replies.
"Clarissa lets go outside!" Chase says grabbing my hand as we leave everyone inside.
"So why'd you drag me outside?" I ask Chase as we walk looking around at all the beautiful houses.
"Uh..well you're friend you know Alexa. Well...she's my mate," Chase sad as is too turning to him my eyes widened.
"What?!" I gasp as he chuckles lightly scared I might punch him or something.
"Sorry to tell you. She probably doesn't know yet," Chase says embarrassed he told me.
"She's been waiting for her mate. Like no kidding she's been dying to find her mate for like ever," I admit laughing lightly.
"Will you tell her?" Chase asks me as I stop laughing looking behind him.
"I don't have to tell her. I think she already knows," I say pointing behind him as he turns around seeing Alexa walking towards us.
"I'm so screwed!!" Chase starts freaking out, because he thinks she's angry.
"Clam down she's not angry," I say as she joins us looking right at Chase not saying anything.
"Alexa?" Chase asks as she smiles.
"Mate," She says as she pulls Chase in for a hug smelling his scent.
"Awwww!!" I chuckle.
"Alexa you're...squeezing me," Chase coughs as she lets go of him while he gets his breath back.
"Sorry. I'm just so happy!" Alexa smiles once again.
"So cute," I laugh as me, and Alexa hug.
"Thanks Clarissa for being my friend," Alexa says.
