Still, there's a shocker ending because I might put this on a break for a while, might as well as leave on a cliffhanger right? Allison's P.O.V
"Oh My God Ben seriously?" I asked Ben right after he said we're gonna get married tomorrow morning, how can he keep it from me? Weddings are a girl's day , we should look our best. I could have went into a quick diet for God's sake.
"Yes Allison. We're gonna get married today" he said as he pulled me closer to him. Ben kissed my cheeks and whispered that today is my day. "But why now? You know there's a mole around" I said in concern, they still don't have any idea who the mole is and it'll be extremely dangerous to do something like this for it might draw a lot of people and something bad might happen which can cause to a massive amount of casualty.
"That's exactly the reason why. We don't know what's gonna happen to us Allison, life's too mysterious these days that you can just die any second. So I figured that we should get married while we still have the chance to" he said and then smiled. My heart's beating fast, I can't believe I'm getting today. I'm speechless.
"What's wrong Allison? You don't want to get married?" he asked.
"Uh No-No. I'm just really happy" I said and then he hugged me really tight. "Don't worry, it's just a small celebration. No need to make a fuss about what other people might think. And we're gonna do it on the Skitter camp" he whispered.
"Skitter Camp? Who's gonna be the priest? A Skitter one?" I joked and then he laughed a bit. "No, It's Rev. Coggins , he said that it's alright since this is a new world and rules aren't really that popular yet" he uttered.
"Okay fine you convinced me enough. You should leave now, I still need to take some last minute beauty rest. If i looked hideous later, it's all your fault" I said and he just chuckled and then got up and left. I looked at Charlie and he's peacefully sleeping, I can't believe it's gonna happen.
A few minutes later, Anne along with Lourdes and Jeanne dropped by in my room to tell that the ceremony will happen tomorrow by sunrise so I have to sleep now as they'll start preparing as soon as 4:00 am.
"This is gonna be the wedding of the year" Jeanne said.
"That's because this is the only wedding of the year" Lourdes uttered and we all started laughing. She's right, who gets married in the middle of an alien war? seriously who does that?.
