I walked after Alice as she quickly manuvered through the crowd of people walking along the streets of New Orleans. She walked rather fast for a women who just recovered from shock. She practically ran into an apartment building, climbing the stairs to the fourth floor and knocking on a door within seconds.

A girl about sixteen years old opened the door. She had the same facial structure as Alice and a similar nose so I assume they're related. "What's wrong Aly?" The girl asked immidiately as we walked in. "The Kasaraga Curse." The girl froze her smile dropping. "When did this happen?" She asked. Her eyes darting from Alice to me and back. It was clear I made the girl nervous.

Alice quickly explained to the girl who listened intently. "Well the most I can do is lend you the books on it my mother left behind from our ancestors." The girl said worriedly. "How do you know you were cursed but he wasn't?" The girl asked. "Kar we don't know that's the point. We have to figure out soon or we'll both die." Alice's voice cracked making this girl Kar raise her eyebrow in confusion.

"Here I'll give the books to him. He can take them back but I need to speak with you." She gestured towards Alice affectionately. She nodded silently. I was given a large bag full of heavy books before being practically kicked out of the apartment.

I waited outiside the building for Alice hoping she was alright. An hour later she walked out of the building wordlessly ushering me back to her apartment. We got home to find Elijah had left leaving a note saying he'd be back at night. Alice opened the bag and started to sort through the books. SHe finally picked one and started to read.

"What did she want to talk about?" I asked curiously. "You." Alice said simply. "Me?" I asked amused. "Yes you." Alice turned to look at me. "She wanted to know if I was actually falling for you." She said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Well are you?" I asked waiting for the answer. "I told her the truth. I think I am." She said blushing slightly. I laughed. "Well then I should take you out to dinner. Shouldn't I? To see if you really are." I explained. She looked up baffled.

"Is Klaus Michaelson asking me out?" She asked smirking. I nodded rolling my eyes. "Well then. I believe I am obligated to say yes." Her broad smile decieved her. I could tell she was excited as she bit her lip to hide her smile as she continued reading. "Well then love. Be ready by 7pm." I said leaving her to read. I walked into my room and smiled feeling so at peace.

"It seems as if Elijah was right. You are falling for her Nik." I looked up to see my little sister Rebeka sitting on my bed. She hadn't changed a bit had she? "Well Beka I didn't think you'd come all the way to New Orleans." I said smiling as I embraced my sibling. "Well it seems as if this girl, whoever she is has changed you Nik." Rebeka said taken aback.

"You don't know her?" I asked raising an eyebrow at her. She sighed. "Fine I know her but she's much different than I remember however she still has that spark in her." She paused for a moment as she studied me. "That fire inside her that clearly still has you tripping over your own feet." She was silent for a moment before she spoke again. "She is changing you Nik."

"Well it seems as if she's starting to." I raised an eyebrow at her. "Nik look at yourself." She said. "You haven't smiled like that in over two hundred years and you have never been on a date before." She said smiling mischeviously.

"Yes I have Bekah." I said glaring harshly at her. "Fine. A date with someone you genuinely like rather than someone you wanted to rob or manipulate." I opened my mouth to respond but realized my sister was in fact correct.

My sister beamed. She was happy for me...proud even. "Your aren't as-" A peircing scream rang out. "Alice!" I shot out of the room pinning the imposter. "It's too late Klaus your precious little princess is gone." He said blood coming out of his mouth as I shoved my hand into his chest gripping his heart tightly. I looked at his chest to see he had been stabbed with glass already. Alice fought back.

I broke his neck throwing him to the side before I looked out the window to see a van driving away and Elijah brawling with a young man. I jumped down attacking the man my brother was fighting, Rebeka right behind me. I killed the man easily and turned to see that Rebeka was unconcious and Alice was gone. "Bloody hell!" I yelled angrily as my sister came back to conciousness. She ripped a stake out of her stomach and growled. "I will slaughter the whole lot of them!" I yelled enraged. "Can you track them?" Bekah asked me angrily.

"I already know where they're going." Elijah said helping our sister to her feet. "They weren't very sudbtle about hiding their base of opporation which proves that they are in fact ammatures. So this should be easy." We started to follow Elijah swiftly trying to be as descreet as possible as we weaved through the crowd towards the building we were being directed to.

We found ourselves standing outside a run down building facing twenty vampires. "Now which one of you kidnapped Alice?" I asked. "That would be me." A female werewolf said proudly. "Ah good then I know exactly who to kill." She smirked standing ready.

"Oh Klaus do let me kill her." We looked past the group of vampires to see Alice standing there her eyes black, levitating a vampire above her head. His head was pushed into an awkward angle and his leg was clearly broken. The female werewolf gasped. "I-impossible! How did you-" "No offense honey but you have a weak boyfriend." She threw the vampire at the werewolf and attacked.

I stared for a moment in awe as Alice snapped five of the werewolf's necks by using her magic. "How is she able to use magic yet she's a vampire?" Rebekah asked puzzled. "I don't know but I'm not letting her have all the fun." I lunged towards the closest wolf ripping it's heart out of its chest.

With in minutes the yard was covered with dead bodies and torn off limbs. The she wolf stood standing facing Alice covered in her fallen comrade's blood. She ran at Alice who simply held her hand out in front of her making a squeezing motion. The werewolf fell to the ground clawing at her chest. Alice pulled her arm back from the sqeezzing position. The werewolf went still. Dead.

Alice smiled walking over to me. "Well that was fun!" She said calmly. I laughed lightly. "Yes Nik she's definately your kind of girl." Rebeka said. "Um hi." Alice said giving Beka an odd look. "I'm Rebeka, Klaus' little sister." Rebeka said shaking Alice's hand. "Oh! Okay. That makes more sense." Alice said smiling. "Oh darn! It's 6:30 you're going to be late for your date." Rebeka said playfully. "Ah! I need to get home!" In an instant Alice was gone and so was Rebeka. I couldn't help but laugh as I started to walk home with my brother. This was going to be an interesting evening.
