I was speaking with Elijah about the werewolves who came into town when I got Alice's message. Klaus, Arthur found us please hurry. I was on my feet and so was Elijah knowing already why I would react like that. I hurried out of the apartment only to be met by four werewolves. Elijah and I looked at each other and nodded. Each one of them attacked us how ever none of them could even scratch our skin. There was finally only one standing.
"Elijah go and help Beka. I can handel this." I said gesturing towards the lone wolf before me. Elijah was gone leaving me to finish off the wolf. The wolf smirked. "I would be more careful Klaus. There are some things that shouldn't be tampered with." He said pulling a stake from within his coat. Something was different though. What was it about this stake? That's when it hit me. It was made of white oak. I smirked. "Well if you think that scares me little wolf your out of your mind." I said smirking.
Oh it didn't scare me but it did concern me that this pup had the capablity to kill me. My family can only be hurt by the wood from the white oak tree. We had burnt it to the ground over 200 years ago but apparently there were still some peices left. No matter. I will kill him and anyone who has the intention of harming my family.
The wolf lunged at me and I easily dodged his attacks. He stabbed me with the stake in the left shoulder dangerously close to my heart sending pain throughout my entire body. I simply grimaced and watched as the smiling wolf froze in shock as he found himself lying on the ground. "My turn." I whispered my hand gripping his heart making him gasp for breathe. I ripped his heart clean out of his chest causing blood to splatter all over me. I threw the heart to the side and smirked. I then pulled the stake out of my shoulder and slipped it into a pocked in my jacket.
I savoured my victory that is until until Rebeka's screams reach my ears. I sprinted forward towards the scream. I got to the clearing just in time to see Alice get bitten by one of the wolves. Elijah had just killed the second werewolf while Rebeka removed a stake from her shoulder. Alice stabbed the werewolf I assumed to be Arthur in the neck with a needle causing his to gasp for breathe and scream in pain falling back slowly dying. She was thrashing in pain and gasping desperately for breathe.
I quickly lifted Alice up onto the altar the girls had created. Alice was barely breathing and her eyes were starting to close. "Alice don't you dare close your eyes!" Rebeka yelled tears streaming down her face her knuckles turning white from clentching her fists too tight. "Please don't leave me." I whispered as I bit my wrist to feed her. Being the original hybrid my blood could heal a wolf's venom. "Alice please! You're stronger than this!" Elijah said kneeling down beside her. I pressed my wrist against her lips urgently but she wouldn't drink.
"Alice you need to drink!" Her eyes closed and I quickly sucked on my own wrist filling my mouth with blood and then kissed her feeding her the blood. Please Alice. I need you. I pulled away. No response. She didn't even breathe. "She's gone." Elijah said in disbelief as sorrow and pain crept their way into his voice. Rebeka started to sob uncontrolably. I cradeled Alice. "Why did you have to be taken from me? Why?" I whispered as I kissed her hair softly and nuzzled her neck. Elijah wrapped his arms around our little sister while I rested my head on Alice's shoulder.
"Klaus! What have you done?" I heard some yell angrily. Kol stood there eyes wide in shock and full of rage. "There was nothing he could've done Kol!" Rebeka yelled angrily at our brother. "Yes he could've gone with her and been by her side when they attacked." Kol yelled back angrily. "They had white oak stakes you bloody idiot!" Rebeka yelled back. Elijah looked at me and he could see it. My sorrow. My pain. My pure despair. I didn't want to fight anymore. I wanted to die and be with her. I held the white oak stake in my hand.
My body was then pinned against the altar and the stake was ripped out of my hands. "No! Alice never would've wanted you to do this Klaus and you know it!" Elijah said. He lit the peice of wood on fire and watched it burn as did the rest of us. "It should've been you to die Klaus!" Kol said coldly and walked away angrily. I nodded in agreement. I looked at Alice. My angel. She looked as if she was sleeping. No cuts or bruises just a bit of blood on her forehead. I gently wipped away the blood. I froze when I did. The cuts were closing. She was healing.
"Elijah!" I called urgently. "Can our blood heal even after the death of the person?" I asked nodding towards the wound. His eyes went wide and he shook his head. I heard thunder clap and looked up to see clouds forming above us. I spotted Alice's friends who had given her the books on the curse standing there looking up to the sky her palms glowing brightly. "Move back!" I yelled. Lightening struck Alice. Once. Twice. Thrice. It wasn't reviving her.
The girl dropped her hands breathing deeply. He stumbled over to Alice. "What are you doing?" Bekah asked yelling over the howling winds. "I'm trying to bring her back but the ancestors are fighting against me!" She yelled. "It's forbidden to bring the dead back to life." Elijah rushed foreward with the dagger.
"Draw energy from this. It should help you. Our mother was a power ful witch. She spelled it. It will work." The girl hesitated before nodding and gripping the handel of the dagger. Elijah ran back away from the girl as she closed her eyes reopening them as white orbs.
"Be safe Aly." She whispered and put one hand on her chest placing the other hand on Alice's. "I give you everything." There was a flash of light and the girl lay on the ground unconcious. Elijah quickly checked while I looked at Alice. "She's alive." Elijah said. I lifted Alice up and put my ear next to her mouth. I shook my head. It didn't work. Alice was gone. And she was never going to come back. My princess was dead.
