Chapter 33- Help Me Willing or Not

I stared at the cloth my little sister was holding. It was nearly soaked through with blood. Her blood. I watched as Alice lay unconcious her mouth slightly open. Elijah walked into the room and stared in shock at Rebekah then looking at me. "She coughed up blood and went to sleep?" He asked earning a nodd from our sister. "I've called Elaine, a loyal witch who might be able to tell us what's going on." My big brother said as I squeezed Alice's hand. She didn't respond. "She will be here in a few minutes. Niklaus I think it's time you explain why you don't want a child." 

Elijah and Rebekah made themselves comfotable. "Especially with a women you love so much....or so you say." Rebekah said raising an eyebrow at me. "Because this will put not only Alice in danger but the child. He will be forced to live as a prisoner. We have made enemies nearly every day of our lives on this earth and this child will be born with all of these enemies but none of the offenses we have." I said to my siblings. "This child will continue the Mikealson blood line but will know none of what was done to ensure he lives. That I swear." 

There was a knock at the door. My eyes flashed but my brother walked over to the door inviting a women in. She was about five foot six with blue eyes and short brown hair. She reached for Alice but I grabbed her arm squeezing it tightly causing her to wince in pain. "If you hurt her....you'll be dead in a heart beat." I warned coldly walking to the other side of Alice so I could hold her hand. "Well great to know you all trust me." She said rolling her eyes. I let out a low growl causing her ot defensively move back. "Niklaus she is not here to harm Alice but to help. A little trust would be nice brother. She is a witch from New Orleans who was quite close to Alice before she was shunned from her coven for helping Alice rediscover her humanity." I glared at Elijah. "Trust is earned not given." I said standing up.

"Alice is a friend Klaus. Trust my concern for her." Elain said. Elaine ran her hand over Alice her hand glowing above her stomach. She shook her head worriedly. "This is very bad. She isn't a vampire is she?" Elijah shook his head. "The transformation was reversed using magic for a period of time." He explained. "We believe that it will return in time but we need to know why she had that spasm a few minutes ago and why she's coughing up blood." Elaine nodded as she squinted increasing the glow from her hand. She gasped in shock.

"The reason she had the spasm she did a while ago is because she is...dying." I snapped my head up. "What?!" She shook her head sadly. "She....it...." Elaine sat down closing her eyes. "The baby isn't compatable with her body. Even as a fetus it is incredibly strong. It's crushing her from the inside. Unless her vampiress abilities are restored before the baby is born her heart will give out before she gives birth. She will most likely die. I don't know what can be done to help her." She paused for a few minutes. "That's not the worst of it. She is very unlikely to wake up again except when she has the spasms. Her body has gone into some sort of hibernation to protect itself and her power. In other words she is in a coma." 

Elaine's words hung in the air. There was a long silence which left my head spinning. I needed someone to say something...anything. I sounded weak and pathetic but I couldn't lose her.I stared at Elaine. Her eyes were full of sorrow. “I know you may think I’m lying but I am sorry. I knew Alice when she was in Louisiana. She was kind and unlike most she was genuinely sincere. Quick to anger but kind at heart.” She said softly. “I might be able to reverse some of the magic done but it’s very unlikely.” She mumbled standing up and closing her eyes as she slowly moved her hands above Alice. Alice’s body was lifted off the bed. Her body glowed lightly before it was dropped onto the bed. “The magic is strong but I’ve weakened it. She would be able to break it. However the recreation of her vampiress physical body is a slow one. It will take at least a month. Give her these herbs to help it along.” Eliane said before setting some herbs down on the table. She put a note next to the herbs then left.

“I just got her back.” I whispered softly as I kissed her forehead. Anger overtook me. Tyler will pay for this. He will pay dearly. I pulled the box that had been laying in my pocket for the last month. I opened it revealing a silver band with a single diamon and small rivets on either side of the diamond. Rebekah gasped realizing what the ring was. I slid the ring on Alice's finger and kissed her. "I'll be back. Take care of her." I said walking towards the door. "Niklaus I know what you are thinking. Killing Tyler will not bring you peace. Be here for Alice." Elijah said pleadingly. "I cannot watch her die but I can avenge her." I say as I look at my sleeping girlfriend. "I love you Alice." I whisper before I leave the house. 

I stopped Elaine from leaving and spoke to her for a moment before I started my hunt. I sniffed the air. He's here. He wanted me to leave and abandon Alice. "Tyler I can smell you and I know you are here. You can make this easier on you if you just surrender." I called out as I entered the forest area beside our house. "Easier for me?" I heard him laugh. "Yes easier for you mate." Tyler's laughter rang out. He stepped out from behind a tree. "Klaus you can kill me but it won't save your little girlfriend or your demon of a child." I pinned Tyler to a tree. "It may not save them but I can use you to get what I need." Tyler glared at me vengefully. "I wouldn't help you if my life depended on it." I smirked. "Ah but your friends in Mystic Falls will." 

"Elaine dear would you do me a favour and do what you were told to do." I called out into the woods. "With pleasure." Tyler yelled out in pain and dropped to his knees. He was deep breathing when Elaine finished. "It will only last a few months but it should be enough time to save her. Hurry." I nodded. "Thank you." She smiled weakly before disappearing into the forest. I turned to Tyler who lunged at me. I smirked catching him by the throat. "You aren't a hybrid anymore Tyler which means this is really going to hurt."  I sunk my teeth into Tyler's neck causing him to screetch in pain. "You are going to help me save my fiancee and my child whether you want to or not."
