It was all a blur after that day. I barely stayed conscious enough to determine whether it was day or night each time I was killed. I was also being moved around. I was first in the woods, then what I believed to be a car, then a on a couch now as I wake up I find myself in a sort of dungeon or cell. I was chained to the wall and had been bled out so I was weaker than I usual based on the scared and healing cuts on my arms. I felt like I had water in my ears as I tried to stand only to collapse to the cold stone floor again.
“We should be ready in a few hours….are you sure you don’t want to just kill him Damon?” I heard someone say. “Alice would never forgive me.” A man which I assumed was Damon said. “I’ll have to feed him now.” I heard approaching footsteps. The door opened revealing a tired Damon. He looked worried and rather shocked by my conciousness. “I’m sorry Damon but I can’t let that happen.” He turned and then fell to his knees before his eyes rolled back. Someone had snapped his neck. “You have done enough damage without ruining another women’s life. Rot in hell Klaus.”
Bonnie walked down the hall as she levitated Damon’s body up laying it on the couch. “What happened?” Elena asked rushing towards her friend. “Klaus happened! He’s gone completely insane!” Bonnie lied feeling terrible about having to lie to her best friend. “He has to die.” She stated simply. Elena hesitated as she glanced at the stair case. “Alice. That poor girl will finally be free of that demon.” She said trying to persuade her friend.
“He nearly killed Damon!” She finally yelled and Elena nodded. “Alright let’s do it.” She nodded slowly as she looked down at her friend. She left the room to find Damon's younger brother Stephan to inform him of this new. “After the spell we can kill him.” Bonnie muttered to herself smirking, happy to finally be rid of the creature known as Klaus Michaelson.
Little did they know that Stephan had heard every word and wasn’t planning on letting Alice suffer without her fiancée after finally finding him. The spell was going to happen but Klaus wasn’t going to die that night. He meant too much to Alice. He walked up the stairs silently after Bonnie walked outside to practise the spell and entered Alice’s room.
“Hey Ally. It’s nice to see you again.” He whispered grasping her hand running his fingers over her knuckles. “You will wake up soon with your baby and you will live happily with Klaus. I swear to you on my life.” He stared down at her unconcious body. Thank you. He heard a whisper of her voice. He looked around in shock before staring down at his old friend. Maybe Alice wasn't so helpless after all.
The spell was simple. Feed Alice a bowl of herbs and water then chant the spell channeling the magic from Bonnie's ancestors. The only side effect Bonnie didn't tell the others of was the fact that there was a slim chance the fetus would survive but she didn't really care. Klaus would die, so would his child and Alice would be free.
It was nearly time to perform the spell when Bonnie decided to complete one last part of her plan. Having probed Alice's mind before she found that Alice really did love Klaus so in order to stop any form of pain towards her she was going to remove him from her memory. For good. She may hate Klaus but Alice clearly didn't know the extent of his vile and monstrous deeds.
Bonnie crept up the stairs to ensure no one would hear as she performed her spell. She reached the door and closed her eyes. Was she doing the right thing? She never wanted to have to do this but if it meant riding the world of Klaus it was worth it. He killed my Grams, made my mother into a vampire, and have killed friend after friend. He deserves this. It's not like he really loves her anyway. He always has been a good actor.
Bonnie's eyes flashed open and she gently pushed the oak door open revealing a sleeping Stephan who was gripping Alice's hand tightly. She sighed irritated. She walked over to Stephan. She reached to touch him only to find herself pinned against the wall. She hadn't realized that he knew what she had planned. "Leave her alone Bonnie. Do the spell and let them leave town." He said baring his fangs. Bonnie raised her hand to defend herself when Alice let out a highpitched scream as she gripped her stomach before starting to cough uncontrollably blood spewing from her mouth.
Stephan ran to her side her eyes open. "Stephan....where.....where.....Klaus......please.....forgive...." Her eyes rolled back and she went limp in the younger Salvatore's arms. He checked her pulse. "Bonnie....I don't feel a pulse." She rushed foreward and pressed her fingers to the girl's throat. "She's alive but only because of the vast amounts of magic running through her veins. We have to do the spell now." She said concerned for the women's life.
Stephan carried the red headed women out of the house and into the backyard of the Salvatore estate. "Step back." Bonnie said after the young man placed the women in the white circle of salt Bonnie had created earlier that day. Bonnie started to chant as Alice's body started to lift off the ground. Bonnie's nose started to bleed as she raised her hand fingers spread apart and eyes closed.
Bonnie was so preoccupied she barely noticed that Stephan had disappeared. After grabbing a blood bag Stephan decended into the basement and threw open Klaus' cell. He was weaker than usual. They had injected him with nearly an entire pint of vervain an herb that was poisenous to vampires in attempt to weaken the hybrid. The blood should dilout the liquid poisen.
Klaus bit into the bag hungrily drinking. He looked up at Stephan eyes gold and fangs bared. "Where is Alice?" He asked getting to his feet. He was still weak but he refused to bow down anymore. He had to see her. "Outside Bonnie is doing a spell to save her c'mon."
The two ran outside to see Alice holding Bonnie up by the neck. "How dare you!?" She screamed enraged. "You tried to kill my baby!" The horror in her voice was clear but her trembling body was proof of her anger. "Alice stop!" Stephan lunged forward pulling Bonnie out of Alice's grip. Alice was swaying slightly. She hadn't fed in weeks and was starving. "Alice." She turned and her eyes lit up a warm smile gracing her lips.
Damon walked out of the house carrying a blood bag. He handed it to Alice who drained the bag in seconds. "Thanks." She said hugging her old friend. Klaus walked up behind the women and wrapped his arms around her kissing the top of her head. "You're safe now love." He whispered. "Rest." Alice leaned into her fiancee's touch smiling as she closed her eyes.
As Niklaus carried the sleeping vampiress into the house Elijah arrived with Rebekah. "Is she..." The hybrid shook his head. "She's alright...." The hybrid trailed off. "What's bothering you Niklaus?" The eldest original brother asked raising an eyebrow. "We should take her somewhere secluded and deal with the mess that needs to be cleaned up. Rebekah take Alice to the old cottage in the woods. Elijah and I will be fine." The man said stroking his lover's cheek.
"Are you sure you want to do this Nik?" Bekah asked her brother concerned. "Yes. Alice was right about one thing. Our child needs to grow up differently than we did. He needs to be loved."
