Chapter 34- Magic Kills

I drove into the small town of Mystic Falls Tyler sitting next to me in the front seat. "They won't help you...not...not after hurting me." He mumbled. I shook my head. "They're not helping me. They're helping her." Tyler looked at me confused. We drove into Elena Gilbert's driveway.

The whole town was full of vampires with whom had tried to stop me from breaking the hybrid curse. We were far from friendly with each other but for Alice and my child I was willing to risk it. I dragged Tyler to the front door and knocked on the door. A smiling Elena opened the door but her smile dropped when she saw me. "You are not welcome here." She hissed but her eyes fell on Tyler and concern filled them. "If you let me in I will explain and heal him." I said seriously causing Elena to scrunch her eyebrows together. 

"You can both come in." She said nodding as the Salvatore brothers two of her closest friends walked up behind her. "Elena!" Damon the older of the two and one of Alice's closest friends said in shock. I bit my wrist and fed Tyler my blood healing him.

"Now let me explain...please." I said pleadingly. Stephan the younger of the two brother was shocked at my reaction and nodded slowly. "Is Bonnie here? She would easily be able to show you all." I said. "I'm here." I turned to see the young witch. "Why should I trust you?" I shook my head. "You shouldn't but I am asking you to just show them what the past eight months of my life have been like." She slowly nodded when she saw Tyler.

She reached her hand out to me and closed her eyes. I in turn closed my eyes as well. Images flashed before my eyes. Meeting Alice, the curse, her death, her resurection, breaking the curse, our honey moon, our home, the attack and finally her coma. Bonnie pulled away staring at me in shock. "You came here for love." "What?" Elena asked confused. "Here." Bonnie showed them what she saw. "Your here to save her....Alice. She changed you....she loves you." Bonnie whispered while Damon rolled his eyes.

"Let her rot." I was shocked for a moment. Based on the way he acted in New Orleans he truly cared for her but now...he stared at her with so much disgust. He hated her because of me. I could barely contain my rage as I pinned him to the wall bearing my fangs. "Would you say the same about losing Elena?" I growled at him. "N-no." He said gasping for air. "He loves her Damon we are helping him." Elena stated firmly. 

"What exactly happened? I thought vampires couldn't conseive?" Bonnie asked confused. "A witch used magic to remove her abilities as a vampire allowing her to concieve. The fetus is crushing her from the inside as she lays in a coma." I lowered my head and fidelled with a ring Alice had given me. It was a thick gold band with a oval shaped saphire in the center of it. "Please...she's innocent and isn't involved in any of my treachery. She needs to live....for our child and for the people who love her." I whispered looking up at Stephan and Damon. They exchanged a look and nodded. "Alright we'll help up but as soon as she is saved you leave town and never come back." I chuckled. "Knowing Alice she'll want to meet the people who helped save her life. So I can't make promises about that." 

Elena smiled sadly. "She's innocent? She's with you isn't she?" Damon asked raising an eyebrow. "As strange as it may seem Damon, I've seen what he has. She is pretty innocent. Don't get me wrong she's no Elena but she is kind, selfless and loyal to those she loves." Bonnie said glancing over at me. I gave her a small smile. "It's Alice, Damon." Damon's smirk disappeared as he glared at his brother. "She made her choice Stephan." "And she sees the good in him the same way she saw the good in us." Damon's eyes softened and he nodded. "We will help you." 

There was a knock at the door. Elena walked over to the door and growled as she opened it. "You did not mention that your siblings were coming?" She said before inviting my brother who held Alice in his arms and my sister into the house. I got to my feet and took a trembling Alice from Elijah. Her body relaxed when I sat down with her on my lap. Her head rested against my chest. "She wouldn't stop trembling after you left so we brought her to you." Rebekah said smiling weakly down at the pregnant women. "How many more times has she..." "Twice." I grimaced. As Rebekah folded a blood soaked handkerchief tucking it into her pocket. 

"Why couldn't it have been you." Damon asked angrily clentching his fist. "Well it isn't him it's Alice so can we please help her." Rebekah said firmly. "She is my future sister in law and she deserves to live to see her child and have a happy life!" She reached out and grasped Alice's hand tightly her eyes watering slightly.

Everyone stared at my dear sister in shock. "She's right and I give you all my word that as soon as she is fully healed Alice will return to thank you no doubt but as a family we shall never return." Elijah said sitting down and resting Alice's legs on his lap. I stroked her hair before opening her locket and putting her mother's ring on her finger. Damon watched in astonishment as my fingers burned as the metal touched my finger tips. "Bonnie what can we do to save her?" 

The young witch looked at Stephan confused. "She's been through enough...I agree." Everyone gave the Salvatore brothers a strange look. "She was the only person who excepted us after Katherine disappeared and we left Mystic Falls. She acted the same way Lexi did towards me. She was like our gaurdian angel. She risked her life for us. She's our family." Stephan said. Damon walked over to Alice and smiled stroking her cheek only to get burnt by the ring. He didn't seem to care though. "She's our sister. So we have to help her." His voice was soft and kind. I could feel the heat radiating from Alice as it started to sizzle my skin. 

"We have to break the spell. It will take alot of magic though." Bonnie warned. I felt Alice's body start to tremble. I looked down to see her eyes opening slightly. "Alice! Love you have to rest stop you're-" She started to cough violently blood dripping from the edges of her mouth as she thrashed clutching her stomach. "She is trying to regain conciousness using magic. She's speeding the process up. She has to stop!" Bonnie called rushing to Alice's side. "Alice please!" Damon pleaded softly clutching her hand regardless of how badly his skin got singed. "Stop." He whispered and she turned to him. She nodded slowly as her body went limp again. 

Bonnie took Alice from me and checked her pulse. "She's there but barely. We have to keep her away from you Klaus. What ever it is you do to her emotionally, it gives her hope motivating her to try and wake up again. That is going to kill her faster than the baby is because the baby has already weakened her powers. Using her magic will only weaken her further." I nodded closing my eyes. "Well you were planning on avoiding her to kill Tyler. I don't think it'll be so hard for you Niklaus." Elijah said jokingly, earnig a hard glare from me. I sighed. This is going to be difficult.
