Steak and quite possibly the best dessert I have ever consumed

Three weeks had passed since I moved in with the boys.

I had got to know them better, and they hadn't stopped bugging me about doing videos with them. I was hesitating though, not sure how to approach the situation. Rory and I had pretty much kept to ourselves, only working with a couple of others. Plus, the guys all used cameras, but Rory and I had always hidden our true identities. The boys consistent pestering was starting to wear me down, and I was becoming warmer to the idea of collaborating with them.

In order to know the guys better, kind of like speed dating but without the speed, I spent hours watching their videos, highly amused. I liked them all for different reasons, and a lot of time had been wasted. Harry liked to remind me time spent watching his videos was time well spent.

I never expected to make friends so quickly, to develop such strong connections with a group of complete strangers in such a sort period of time. It was as if I had known them all for years, not mere weeks.

They were also way cooler than I had originally thought. Most of them also had the same mindset as me. Although I wasn't quite up on the same level as Simon and Vik with their late night routines, I did appreciate the confinement of home. It wasn't that I didn't like going outside, I made the effort to go outside at least once or twice a day. I just loved the guys company. I think they enjoyed mine too, though they hadn't seen my full crazy personality yet. I'd give them a few more weeks of normality before throwing myself fully into this new world.

I was also going to launch a large-scale investigation into the happenings within the house. Someone had been leaving me a daisy a day on my pillow. I wasn't sure where they were coming from, or who was putting them there. I mean; there aren't even any flowers in the garden for starters. Like clockwork, and without fail, there would always be a flower waiting for me in the morning. Not only was it mysterious, but also it was also kind of creepy. A creepy, mysterious, but still sweet gesture. Daises were my favorite flower, and whoever was doing it must do the act while I'm asleep. The thought of one of the guys watching me sleep was a bit strange. The sweet innocence of the gesture made it less creepy. I still wanted to find out who was doing it. When I had brought it up, none of the guys had fessed up. I guess you wouldn't fess up to such an act when surrounded by your fellow bros. I would have to single each of them out, or perhaps set up a camera in my room. Only problem, I didn't actually have a camera, so that might prove a difficulty. The whole plan was a work in progress. I would get to the bottom of it, eventually.

Currently, the Sidemen squad plus me were sitting in a warm steakhouse, the whole crew gathered for a day of mischief in central London. It had been quite a struggle to get Simon here. I think today was the first time in the past three weeks he had actually left the house.

At least the stairs had been giving him exercise the few times he ventured downstairs for food or to film a video with the other guys. Last week, after a few beers he had attempted to go down the stairs on a Segway, which resulted in a Simon sized dent in the wall and a large bruise on his elbow. I chuckled at the memory.

I had been in my room, editing a video when I heard the commotion outside. Originally, I thought someone had dropped something heavy or released an elephant in the house. It wasn't till I opened the door to peer down the stairways that I found a stunned Simon sprawled on the landing, Segway discarded and a sizeable depression in the wall.

"What are you laughing at?" Vik asked as I chortled to myself. I was one of those people who would remember something funny, or think up a random joke and just giggle to themselves in the corner. I was easily entertained. Currently, it was Simon who was amusing me.
