The Three Musketeers

Yet another week had passed, and I still hadn't heard back from any of the jobs I had applied for. I sure hoped I would be able to find something soon; living off my emergency fund wasn't going a permanent solution for me.

On the positive side, people were responding really well to Harry and I's video. Of course, there was the hateful comments cropping up left right and centre, but most of them were nice. Having such supportive friends like Tobi, who threatened to get people banned from YouTube after reading through the comments with me was helpful. He had also supplied much needed ice cream, so the comments hadn't really got to me.

Hence, I had just finished recording a video of cards against humanity with not only one, but all of the sidemen. Minus Harry that is. No surprises there.

"Do any of you guys want to go out?" I asked as we finished recording the game. Simon, as usual had won. He used strategy very well, aiming certain cards at Ethan and JJ. Short ones for JJ, and sexual ones for Ethan.

"Sorry, I've got a girlfriend Luce." Josh replied to my query. I rolled my eyes as the others giggled in my ear.

"I mean outside you twat." I replied, stretching my arms above my head. My shoulder clicked at the movement, making me sigh as the pressure dwindled. There's nothing like a good stretch after long hours of sitting at a computer.

"Lu Lu, it's 5am." Tobi piped up.

"So?"

"I'm out sorry I need to sleep." Ethan said tiredly. Admittedly, most of us had been up all night filming and editing videos. I was starting to follow Simon and Vik's rather unhealthy regime, and I felt I needed a break from it.

"You know what, I'm down for it." Simon said. I grinned, clapping my hands together.

"Me too!" Tobi added.

"Sweet as! Anyone else in?" I asked, quitting out of the cards against humanity server.

After a few no's and apologies, only Simon and Tobi were actually keen for a random adventure.

"We will be the three musketeers!" I declared.

"You lot are gonna miss out." Tobi laughed as I pulled my headphones off, stretching out my cramped up legs. A quick change of shirts and a swapping of sweatpants for some jeans would do the trick. After turning of all my recording devices, double-checking everything had saved, I leapt into a clean change of clothing.

I was feeling unusually excited this morning, probably as a result of drinking four cans of V and being up all night. Two cans was the recommended daily intake, Yolo I guess. Grinning with V fueled enthusiasm; I crashed out of my room and into Simons. He was still sitting in his chair; phone in hand. At my sudden entrance, the phone landed on the floor, soon followed by Simon. I had given him such a fright that he somehow tipped over his worn black and red gaming chair.

"I did not intend that." I laughed, stepping forwards to offer him help.

"Oh my days." Simons hand clutched his chest as he looked at me, shock still clear on his face. Oh, I had scared him real good.

"I'm ready to go bro." I said, grabbing Simon's hand to pull him to his feet. It was only when be was standing up did I notice his lack of pants.

"Simon!" I cried, turning away in embarrassment. He hadn't been joking about not wearing pants in the video we had just recorded.

"Where are your pants?" I cried, mentally scarred.

"I'm wearing jocks!"

"Jocks are not pants Simon!" I responded.
