Simon:

There was a fucking mouse in my room. In my room.

"The others are all asleep." I panicked into my phones camera, standing on my bed as I glanced around the room. Where had it gone?

After a few more minutes of panicking into the camera, followed by an ingenious skit in which I pretended to be prepared to shoot the mouse with an empty BB gun, I found myself quietly going into Lucy's room. Despite the commotion I had been making, she hadn't woken up. Knowing we had to be up early, Lucy had turned in early. My sleeping patterns were too wild to do such a thing.

A small sliver of moonlight bathed her room in silver light. I could faintly see her sleeping form, curled up on one side of her bed.

Lucy looked extremely cute when she slept. Innocent, relaxed. She smiled slightly, mumbling in her sleep. My heart felt like it was swelling, melting at the site. She looked even better in my own bed. What I would give to wake up next to her every day. I sighed. I didn't think I'd ever get the chance. That other night must've been a once of. A moment in which her walls fell down. Jackson had a huge impact on her, she just didn't want to let it show. She was so strong, yet so fragile and very secretive. I could tell something had happened in the past, but I'm not sure what. I'd promised myself to find out though, to try and help her.

I wasn't going to admit it, because I honestly feared rejection, but I really liked this kiwi girl. She had crashed into my life, somehow making it better. When she was smiling, I was smiling. When she laughed, I laughed. She made me happy, and I loved that about her. She could brighten anyone's day.

I stood up, and went to move away from her bed. Watching someone sleep is generally considered stalkerish. I almost forgot why I had come into her room in the first place. Damn that mouse.

"Simon?" Lucy's soft voice made me freeze. Shit! I had been caught!

I slowly turned round, hurriedly trying to come up with an explanation for my presence in her room. But as I looked at her, I realized she wasn't awake.

Instead, she was shaking slightly, her head moving from side to side, a scared expression on her face.

"Stop!" She cried, kicking out with her legs. She was having a nightmare! My heart leapt into my throat, and I quickly darted to her side, grabbing her shoulder.

She needed to wake up.

"Lucy!" I whispered, shaking her arm.

"Jesus!" She cried, eyes flying open.

"He won't help you here, love." I said, using her own joke against her.

Lucy levitated, grabbing at her grey covers as she tumbled of her bed in fright.

"Simon?!"

" Are you okay?" I asked, standing on her bed to look down at her. Lucy's hand was on her forehead, eyes wide as she looked up at me.

"You scared the fucking shit out of me!"

"Sorry." I replied, barely keeping in a small laugh. It was a pretty spectacular fall from this angle.

"What are you even doing in here?" She asked, as she shakily stood up, blankets clutched to her chest. She was wearing one of the SDMN jumpers, although the way it brushed mid thigh, I knew it wasn't hers. She'd been borrowing from one of us guys again. My pulse jumped when I realised I couldn't tell if she was wearing pants or not. Oh my days, I wasn't sure whether I wanted her to be fully clothed or not.
