"Luce! LUCE!" Someone's voice cut through my screaming, and I jolted awake, sitting straight up. Sweat stuck strands of hair to my fore head. My eyes darted around, trying to find where I was, bewildered by my change in location my breathing increased, heart jumping into my throat. Jacksons manic eyes didn't greet me as they had in my nightmare. I slowly came to realize that I was in my shared room with the guys. The light was on, and Harry stood in the doorframe, his hand hovering on the switch. Tobi was groggily rubbing at his eyes, Josh slowly closing his laptop, pulling headphones from his ears. I could only assume that Vik was still in a pleasant sleepy state. So where was Simon? How had I got into our shared bed? A loud groan sounded out, answering one of my questions. I looked to the ground as a disgruntled Simon sat up on the floor, rubbing his fore head. I slowly felt my breathing return to normal.

"How did I get here?" I asked, my voice hoarse from the screaming.

" You fell asleep in the bath, and Simon carried you up here." Harry explained, still looking pale.

" Why were you screaming?" He asked, looking between Simon and I.

Simon stood up, still wearing the white t shirt and jeans from the previous night.

" She was having a nightmare." Simon said, still rubbing his fore head.

"I'd gotten up to go to the loo, and she started screaming when I was on my way back."

" You have got a good punch on you." He said, ruffling his hair with his hands.

"Surely you would've worked that out from earlier tonight." Harry scoffed. He grimaced, before making an apologetic look after most likely getting a silent scolding from Josh.

"I hit you?" I asked, almost reaching out to touch Simons arm. I stopped myself before my fingers betrayed me to everyone in the room.

"Yep." Simon said, his hand still on his fore head.

"I'm sorry I woke you all up." I apologized, looking down at myself. I was in a pair of black sweatpants and Simons grey jumper.

"Don't worry Luce, we're just glad you're ok." Josh mothered. Noticing where my gaze was, Simon piped up.

"Yeah, erm we, erm had to change your clothes. There was blood and all..." He said with a blush, now rubbing the back of his head. Why did I find that cute? And holy shit – a distressing thought flitted into my mind – had Simon been the one who changed me? Had he seen me in an indecent state?!

"Who changed me?" I asked, not looking at Simon. Then there would be two people blushing in the room.

No one answered.

I looked to Simon, meeting his eyes.

"Simon...." I asked, hoping he hadn't seen me naked. I wasn't prepared for that. I shocked myself as I added a single word to that thought. Yet.

Crikey, if I wasn't blushing before, I sure was now.

" Well, I carried you upstairs to my room after you fell asleep, because a bed is more comfy than a bath, and when we got here, you wouldn't let go of me." Simon said, sitting back on the bed, making the mattress dip towards him. I blushed even more.

" I didn't want to wake you, so I got Sarah to put you in different clothes." I blushed even further if that's possible. I was thankful he had got one of the girls here to do the job, but still, he could've seen anything.

" I didn't see anything, I promise." Simon added.

"He wouldn't have minded though." Josh smirked, adding one of those weird "heh heh" laughs he always does as I tossed a pillow at him. Tobi pretended to retch in the background, my ears going pink from what Josh had just said.

"I'm going to, uh, go now." Harry said, awkwardly pointing back down the hallway.

"Lights off?" He added on a second thought.

After a mutual group agreement, Harry switched of the light and shut door behind him, leaving the bedroom in a peaceful silence.

"Night guys." Tobi mumbled, already sounding like he was half asleep.

With only the neon green light from the alarm clock to guide me, I relaxed back into the bed, a slight shiver running over my skin. I felt Simon next to me as he did the same, my pulse increasing in response.

" Should I ask what you were dreaming about?" Simon whispered, scooting closer to me. I shook my head, glancing at the clock. 3:47 am. I pulled the covers up over my shoulder, and rolled away from Simon. I didn't mean to hurt him, or wake the others up.

"So you don't want to talk about it?" He murmured softly.

"Not yet." I whispered back, tucking the soft comforter under my chin.

I felt the cover shift around me as Simon moved, one of his hands brushing over my arm till he reached my hand, our fingers entwining.

"I won't let the nightmares catch you." He whispered, giving my hand a squeeze.

I believed him, although the electric touch of our skin made me feel like I was still in a dream.

"Luce?"

"Yes?" I breathed back.

"Is it ok if I do this?" His voice was soft and gentle, although I didn't know what he meant. I rolled to my other side to ask him, before realizing how close he actually was to me.

"Do what?" My voice was a whisper now.

He pulled back his hand before his arm arms slowly circled my body, and I was gently pulled into Simon's chest, my head tucked under his chin. Even though I couldn't touch his skin, I could feel his heartbeat against my hand, his breath over my hair, his warmth cocooning my body, and I had never felt so close to another person before. I was right where I wanted to be.

"This."
