The afternoon turned into one of the busiest, most hectic and stressful times of my life.
People hired by my management who I'd never met before were running about the sidemen house, setting up things for the video. There were fancy cameras and complex riggings being hauled in, and it was becoming rather overwhelming. Why on earth did Rory choose to do a live stream? Especially without even talking to me about any of it? Rory's decision almost felt like a betrayal to me. Did my opinion, my thoughts not matter to him?
I sat at the bottom of the stairs, rubbing my arms nervously. There was so much going on around me that I could barely keep up. My life was about to change drastically, and I wasn't sure if I was ready for that.
"Lu Lu?" I glanced up to find Tobi offering me a mug of something steaming.
"It's a hot chocolate with added marshmallows." He said, sitting down next to me.
"Aww, Tobi." He was honestly such a sweet heart.
"What are you worrying about?" He asked, passing me the sweet drink. Tobi knew me to well.
"It's just my world is about to get a lot less private." I sighed.
"Lu, you have millions of people watching your videos. Privacy is always going to be hard to come by." Tobi replied. There was truth in his words, and I was again astounded by the wisdom Tobi continued to display.
"Now the people who love you have a face to put to the voice." He added.
"What if they don't like me anymore?"
"Lucy, if anyone doesn't like you, there's something seriously wrong with them." Tobi said, giving me a gentle nudge. He pulled me into a side hug just as Simon appeared, leaning against the doorway.
"Anyway, you don't need to worry about what other people think of you. You're surrounded by people who love you and care about you, not matter what." Tobi's words were seriously going to make me cry. I glanced up at Simon who was smiling at me, nodding in agreement with Tobi's words.
It was in that moment that I realised I was in the right place. I had some of the best friends any body could ask for. People who would look out for me. People I loved. They were going to make tonight so much easier for me. Things were going to be ok. We were going to be ok.

Throughout the whole stream, the guys stood at the back of the room, supporting me. JJ being JJ, kept on doing things that made me laugh, no matter how hard I tried not too. Whenever I felt myself wavering, I just had to glance up to catch Simons proud smile or Tobi's thumbs up.
It was nice to see Rory again, and I was surprised by the highly positive reactions of the people we personally skyped.
It only took half a hour, and when it was done, it was like a huge weight had been taken of my shoulders. My followers knew who Rory and I were.
Only once the Skype people had left did I finally relax. It was over. I had survived.
All the guys had congratulated me, but I felt they thought this was a much bigger deal than it actually was.
"I need to ring Cal!" I suddenly exclaimed after giving Tobi double high fives. Cal would want to know how everything had gone.
"Luce, Harry's calling!" Josh called from the kitchen entrance, holding up my vibrating phone. I hurried to him, feeling elated.
"Hey!" I exclaimed after taking the phone from Josh with a thankful smile.
"LLLLLUUUUUUCCCCCCYYYYYYYY!!!!!" Harry screeched. I jumped, pulling the phone from my ear. Did this boy want to destroy my hearing?
