Harry's unreasonable wasting of perfectly good chairs

Harry could be one annoying little shit. Ever since the lunch we had at the steak bar, he had been pestering me about making the video with him. I wanted to make a video with him, and the other guys, but I didn't want to seem like I was using them for fame. But Harry wasn't a quitter. If I had a dollar for every time he brought it up I would be able to buy my own private island, with a chocolate themed theme park for my guests. For this reason, and a few others including the classic kiwi mentality of "she'll be right," I finally decided to film a video with Harry.

I felt like he was far too happy about this. When I told him I'd make a video with him today, he had hi fived me so hard he bruised two fingers. Talk about an enthusiastic child.

I chuckled to myself, shaking my head. Harry had so much energy; he could power half of London with it.

"What?" Harry asked, swinging round in his chair to face me. I was lying on his badly made bed behind him, scrolling through Tumblr on my phone as he edited the video we had just filmed.

" Nothing." I said with a grin.

" No one smiles that cheekily without reason." Harry replied. I shrugged, still grinning.

" You gonna help or what?" Harry asked. I rolled my eyes at him.

" Your video, matey." I laughed, getting up anyway. Harry's eyebrows rose.

" Matey?" He questioned as I turned his spare chair round so I could sit in it backwards. Harry watched me, confused as I rested my arms on the headrest of the chair, my head on top of my arms. It was extremely comfortable, and Harry shouldn't judge till he had tried it out.

" There's a bunch of others I can call ya." I said, beginning to talk. As I listed all the Kiwi slang for names of friends, going well over my fingers.

"Oh, oh, and my favorite one, of course." I stopped as Harry rolled his eyes.

" Nah, matey this ones the best!" I said, waggling my eyebrows at him.

"Go on," He said, his editing completely forgotten.

" Brrrooooo." I laughed, punching him lightly on the arm.

" You know, back home people talk way different to you lot here." Harry nodded.

After about 10 minutes, I stopped talking, covering my mouth. God I had rambled on forever. Harry had a video to edit, and I had just majorly distracted him! Harry was watching me, a smile tugging at his lips.

" You talk a lot." He laughed, making me blush. Wait, why was I blushing?

" How come you don't talk as much with the others?" Harry asked.

" The guys?" I asked, confused. Harry nodded. I shrugged again, blushing.

I wasn't sure what he was asking.

" You know, you talk to me heaps, but not the others." Harry continued. I glanced at him. I did talk to the others lots, didn't I? The only reason I couldn't sometimes talk with them was because they were filming videos most of the time. Anyway, Harry couldn't really know, he was hardly around.

" Are you saying I talk to much?" I asked, confused.

" I'm saying you should grace the boys with your talk more." He grinned.

"Harry, that was one of the poshest things I have ever heard you say!" I laughed, un able to take him seriously.

" You certainly didn't learn that in Guernsey." I joked.

" Guernsey is actually a very civilized place." Harry defended, folding his arms.

" For farm animals?" I grinned, watching Harry's reaction. He again rolled his eyes, before pushing me away from him with his feet.

" You come from New Zealand, it isn't much better over there." He said, turning back to his computer.

" Well, there are at least three cows to each person." I offered, giving him the thumbs up.

"#funfactswithlucy." I laughed, rolling the chair back to beside Harry.

"You should make a series of those." Harry said, once again distracted from his editing task.

" And you should finish editing that video." I replied, pushing his face round to look at the monitor.

" Fine." Harry sighed, grabbing his mouse.

I guess you could say Harry and I's video went pretty good. I beat him, of course, and in classic Harry fashion, his chair felt the brunt of his defeat. I'm not sure what these many chairs had done to him to deserve such treatment. I'm certain normal people didn't destroy chairs on such a common basis. But then again, Harry was in no way a normal person.

He had edited his video in a way that had me almost die of laughter. I watched the playback side on, my chin resting on the back of his spare chair.

" You're way too good for a girl." He wined, shaking his head unhappily. He was smiling though, so I knew he was joking.

"Just let me win for crying out loud!"

"If I wanted a bitch, I would've bought a dog." I replied, watching Harry's reaction. God, I had timed it perfectly. His mouth had dropped open, and he was staring at the camera in shock.

He shook a finger at the camera, blowing air into his cheeks. I couldn't help it anymore, and I let out a huge laugh, my eyes watering.

" Round two." He growled, punching his palm.

Harry pulled the slider back to the start of the video to edit the intro some more. This had surprisingly not taken that long, once I had stopped distracting Harry he had proved to be a efficient worker.

I giggled as I watched the rendering video over Harry's shoulder for the third time. The moment I called him a bitch was the best part in the video, and he knew it.

" What are you all laughing at?" I heard Simon call from the hallway. I had completely forgotten that the other guys were here too. I heard Simon push the door open, soft footsteps padding towards Harry and I. I glanced over my shoulder, before moving to the side so that Simon could see the monitor as well. Harry replayed the burn I had dealt him, and I watched Simon's reaction. He put a hand over the lower part of his face, chuckling.

" Good one." He laughed, patting me on the shoulder. I could've sworn his hand lingered before he pulled back, smiling at me.

" Thanks." I giggled.

"Hey Luce?" I looked back up at Simon. He looked on the edge of saying something, rubbing the back of his head.

" Mhmm?"

I watched Simon glance at Harry, opening and shutting his mouth. I couldn't see what Harry was doing, but it was obviously putting Simon off.

"Never mind." Simon said, backing away from us.

I frowned as he skittered out of the room. That was a little strange, even for Simon. What had he wanted to talk to me about?

Yo guys! This is sorta a filler chapter, so yeah. I hope you all enjoyed, and here's a friendly reminder that YOU'RE TOTALLY AWESOME! (and also have a glass of water if you haven't had one in a while). Simon wearing glasses is hella cute too 🙌 I'll probably post the next (more exciting chapter) tomorrow afternoon!

Peace out!✌️
