"Psst," Sam whispered to Alden Richards who was sitting on the couch next to him. He had been trying to get his attention for the past fifteen minutes but Alden was too busy looking at his phone to talk him.
"PSST! Papi Alden," he whispered loudly.
He remained quiet.
"HUY, PAPI ALDEN," Sam whispered once again, this time even louder.
Alden turned to him, quite annoyed for being disturbed. "Ano?!"
Sam froze a moment before giving a little laugh which seemed to irritate Alden even more.
"Ano ba kasi iyun? Istorbo ka eh!"
"Ito naman! Ano ba kasing tinitingnan mo diyan?" he said, moving his head to get a glimpse of Alden's phone. His eyes widened and Alden quickly hid his phone.
"Wala! Bakit ba?"
Teka lang. Teka lang. Parang may picture ng babae dun ah. Could it be?
He grinned and looked around the room before turning to Alden. "Oo nga pala, ang ganda ni Yaya Dub no? "
Alden looked away, a blush creeping up his cheeks. "Ah. Oo nga."
Ha! Sinasabi ko na nga ba eh! Tatamaan din ito ng pag-ibig!
"Siguro, maraming nanliligaw sa kanya no? Lalo na ngayon at ngumiti na siya," Sam said seriously though it was taking all his willpower to do so.
He turned his head . "Talaga? May balita ka ba kung sino? Artista ba? Taga-EB ba? O non-showbiz?"
Hala siya. Malakas ata ang tama nitong si Papi Alden! Kalma lang, Sam. 'Wag ka masyadong pahalata. Ang isda ay nahuhuli sa sariling bibig niya.
He took a deep breath before speaking.
"Ha? Sabi ko lang naman na baka may nanliligaw," Sam said calmly, shaking his head. "Don't worry, Papi! I'm sure, may laban ka rin naman kapag nanligaw ka na!"
Alden nodded soberly, unwittingly admitting his feelings to Sam.
Sam waited for a couple of heartbeats for Alden to realize what just happened. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped.
"Hoy," he sputtered. "Susmaryosep, ano bang pinagsasabi mo?"
Sam ignored him. He gave a victorious whoop and grinned widely as the people around them gave him weird looks.
"Umayos ka nga! Baka kung ano isipin nila!"
"Bakit? Gusto mo naman siya 'di ba? Kinilig ka nga kanina eh," his grin got wider as he looked at Alden who was struggling to conceal his emotions.
"Hindi mo alam ang sinasabi mo," he mumbled to himself.
Aysus! Conceal, don't feel ba ang drama mo Papi? Wala na, nahuli na kita eh!
"Ah, talaga? So, ibig sabihin pwedeng..."
Alden looked at him straight in the eye, clenching his fists at his side. He looked dead serious.
"Hindi."
Shet. Ayoko pang mamatay, Papi Alden. Joke lang naman eh. Joke lang. Jusko. Grabe ka sa akin! Pinapatay mo ako sa tingin mo eh!
He swallowed and nodded numbly.
Kala mo ah. Balang araw, hindi na ako magda-dalawang isip na ilaglag ka.
He looked around the room, watching Alden out of the corner of his eye. His eyes were soft as he gazed down at his phone.
Maghintay ka lang talaga, Papi Alden. Darating din ang araw na hindi mo na maitatago ang mga sikreto mo. Hehe.
