Chapter 33

3 months later:

The girls were now 7 and back in school. So were Gray and I. My stomach was extending so there was no point of keeping my pregnancy a secret. Whenever I was at my locker, there would be some girls who would call me a whore or some shit like that but it didnt phase me because I had so many great friends. They all supported me and helped me out. As for Grayson, he was the quarterback of our highschool football team. He was also wrestling for our school. Teachers would talk to me privately just to keep in check with how my pregnancy was doing. Just so that they dont put to much stress on me.
Gray and I were extremely happy. He still had light scars on his arm but they weren't that noticeable. Because I wanted to have a healthy baby, I've been eating more. I couldn't exactly tell if I was up to weight but my thighs werent as far apart from each other like before so I guess that's good.
During lunch or after school, people would always come up to us and ask if i was having a girl or boy. I didnt know but really wanted to.
Gray and I went to the doctor to find out.
We went into one of the rooms and I layed on the chair. Gray held my hand during the time.
I couldn't help but smile when I saw the little human being on the screen. I could easily see the head and arms and legs. When the doctor pointed out the beating heart, i completely lost it. I was in tears.
"Aww. Why are you crying?" Gray smiled.
"I dont even know. Im just so happy." I managed to get out. Gray got me a tissue and I wiped my tears.
"So everything seems to be going fine." The doctor said.
"Can you tell the gender?" Gray asked. The doctor looked at the screen and smiled.
"Yes. Would you like to keep it secret or woudl you like to know?"
"What is it?" I asked.
"Congratulations. You are having a baby boy." The doctor smiled. Gray covered his mouth and I saw tears formimg in his eyes. We laughed.
The doctor cleaned off my stomach and talked to us about when to come back. We thanked him and left the office and went to pick up the twins. We told them that I was going to have a baby boy and they cheered.

We got back to our apartment and had the girls do their homework. I gave them some fruit to snack on as they did it. Gray was on his laptop searching up baby names. I grabbed a handful of mixed nuts and walked to the couch.
"Wow." I sat next to him.
"What do you wanna name him?" He asked.
"I was thinking of Levi. I really like that name." I said as I finished off the nuts.
"What about Jaxton? Its super unique." He pointed at the name on the screen.
"Thats cool. But it's still super early. We still have 4 and half months till he's born." I pointed out.
"Yeah. I guess. So what do you wanna do?" He said as he closed his computer.
I shrugged.
"How about---" he was about to say something but was cut off by a large thump and Peyton's scream. I jumped off the couch and so did Gray. I rushed into their room and saw Sage struggling to breathe on the floor. Her face was bright red and she was sweating like crazy.
"Grayson get her epipen!!!" I yelled. I gently tilted her head back to open her airway. Gray was back with her epipen and put it into her thigh. Sage gasped and started coughing.
"Call 911." Gray said to me. I took my phone out of my pocket and dialed the number. The paramedics arrived. They checked her blood pressure and said she was going to be fine. I let out a breath of relief. The paramedics left and I thought to myself. It was my fault. I was eating nuts while preparing the fruit. It must have gotten into her bowl somehow.
"Im so sorry." I said to Sage.
"For what?" Her voice was hoarse.
"I was eating nuts and some of it must have gotten into your bowl."
"Its fine. It was an accident." She was so sweet.
Gray looked at me.
"You really need to be more careful Bree." He said to me.
"I know. Im so sorry." I ran my hand through my hair.
"Get some rest Sage. Peyton. Go out to the table outside and do your homework there." Gray said.
Peyton nodded and gathered her stuff and went outside.
"Bree. Please be careful next time. Okay?" He said to me.
"I know Gray. I love them as much as you do." I responded.
"I know you do. Come here." He smiled amd gave me a hug.
"Sage. You get some rest. I'll get you when dinners ready." Gray said to her.
She gave a weak okay and closed her eyes. I went out of the room first and Gray closed the room door.
Then we went to the kitchen and started making dinner.
