Chapter five

Joey POV

"Hey, Joey." I heard a deep voice call to me when I walked into the auditorium. I was nervous, I was about to see who was sending me all the letters. I looked to my right and saw a man sitting in the middle of the stage with a bouquet of daisies and red roses.
"H-hi."
Of course I JUST HAD TO STUTTER MY WORDS. URGG!!
"Awe you're cute when you stutter. I'm Daniel. Daniel Preda..."
"No way... You have been giving me all those letters?"
"Ya... Your Joey... Right?"
"Yes, and I know who you are silly, I've had a crush on you since I started college; before I even admitted to myself that I was gay... Tbh, you helped me realize that..."
"Well... I have a question to ask you."
"Ask away."
"Will you be my Valentines Day date?"
"Umm of course!"
He hugged me, and it just felt so right. We then set up a plan for the Valentines Date.
I texted Cat and told her all the details, and she was super jealous because she doesn't have a date yet.
