Chapter sixteen

Daniel POV

     Joey had fallen asleep, so I finished the movie, which was so good, and then I tried to fall asleep, but couldn't for about 45 minutes. Joey looks so peaceful when he sleeps. I called Wolf up on the couch with us, and I pet him, which helped me fall asleep.

     I woke up to Joey softly snoring. I quietly got up, making sure I didn't wake him, and looked in the cupboard to find something to make us for breakfast. I ended up making blueberry waffles with strawberries and green smoothies.  I then woke Joey up around 9:30, and we had a lovely breakfast.
      After breakfast, he asked me if I wanted to go to the gym with him, and so I agreed and went home to change.
     I met him at the gym.
     "Hey!"
     "Hey! Ready?"
     "Yup."
     "Okay let's go."
     We worked out for about 1 1/2 hours, then decided to go back to his apartment.
     "Do you think I could use your shower and borrow some clothes?"
     "Of course!"
     He went into his closet and picked out a pair of shorts and a tank top for me to wear.
     "Thanks."
     "No problem! I need to take a shower too..."
     "Wanna join me?"
     "Sure, if you wouldn't mind."
     "Not at all."
