Pool Party: Continued

"Ladies and gentleman. Put your hands together for the sister of famed Karlee Ross, Lily!!"

Everyone clapped, and then I walked onto the stage. The room started spinning, and I felt like I was gonna be sick. My mind wanted to be anywhere except here.

A felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Everything is gonna be okay Lily." Mikey told me.

The first song was going to be Hey Everybody. I was so nervous, but Mikey promised to sing with me. I walked up to the microphone, and Mikey came up beside me.

"Thank you." I whispered to him.

"For what?" He asked.

"For being the brother I never had, for doing this with me, everything. Just thank you. I love you Mikey."

"You're so welcome, and I love you too Lily. Now let's do this."

She maxed her credit cards and don't got a job...

Everyone stood up and clapped. We got a standing ovation! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be standing here in front of all these famous people, singing alongside members of my favorite bands.

Harry came and stood beside me while getting ready for the next song. The next song was going to be History.

"Harry?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I love you too Lils."

You gotta help me, I'm losing my mind...

Again, a standing ovation. Everyone was absolutely loving this! It made me really happy.

"Mrs. Lily?"

"Yes sir?"

"My name is Zack Pearson. I'm from Pearson Records. We have a studio here in Hollywood, and I would love it if you could swing by Wednesday. I want to talk to you. Here's my card. Give me a call."

"Umm..." I was speechless. "Yes sir! I would love that. Wednesday right?"

"Yes ma'am. See you then." He said as he walked away.

Oh. My. Gosh! What just happened?!?

"You just got asked to swing by a recording studio!" Harry said.

"Huh?"

"You said it out loud."

"Oh."

I still couldn't believe what just happened. Seriously though. What just happened?

"Hey, what just happened?" Ash asked me.

I still had the card in my hand.

"I think that I just got asked to go talk to a person at a recording studio." I said through my amazement.

"Lily! That's amazing!!! Congratulations!!!" He hugged me.

That's when it finally dawned on me and my brain finally accepted it.

"I just got asked to go to a recording studio!!!!!" I squealed.

It was time to sing.

"Congrats Lily." He gave me another hug. I smiled and started to sing.

They would yell, they would scream, they were fighting it out...

Another standing ovation. Aren't these people's legs getting tired. I laughed in my head.

Ash came and hugged me.

"That was fun Lily, and you were absolutely great!"

"Thanks Ash! But I also had you here, and you're the famous singer not me."

"Whatever, you did great."

"Thanks Ash."

He walked off stage where Maddie was walking up. He said something to her, but i couldn't tell what it was. Whatever it was, it put the biggest smile ever on her face. He kissed her, and they shared a hug.

"What was that all about?" I asked her.

"He just told me he loves me."

"Congratulations Mads!"

It was time to sing the next song: Amnesia.

I drove by all the places we used to hang out getting wasted...

These people just throw out standing ovations left and right!

Maddie and I hugged and walked off stage together.

"Maddie! I got offered to go to a recording studio on Wednesday!"

"Oh my gosh! I'm coming with you!"

"Wouldn't have it any other way." I told her.

I went to go find Harry. I thought he would come find me, but he didn't.
Suddenly, Luke was in front of me.

"Hey Luke! I haven't seen you all day. What's going on?"

"Lily, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" I asked.

He paused. Then, he kissed me.

I tried pulling away as fast as I could, but it was too late.

"Lily?"

"Harry!"
