"How much more stuff do you have to pack?" Maddie asked me as we sat beside each other in the kitchen drinking our tea.

"Not much, I just have a few more outfits to pack, and then I'm done."

"And you get to celebrate your birthday on tour! I wish I could say that."

"I know! I'm so excited to celebrate my birthday with all of the boys, and I'll be turning eighteen!"

"I know! I'm so excited that you're turning eighteen in three weeks!"

"Not as excited as me!" I told her as we walked up the stairs to continue packing.

Suddenly, my phone rang, and I went to go answer it.

"Hello?"

"Ms. Ross?"

"Yes?" I asked.

"Mr. Pearson would like to have a word with you, can you be here in an hour?"

"Sure." I told the woman on the phone.

I hung up the phone, and ran downstairs. I grabbed my keys and drove to the office building. I walked into the building, and the woman at the desk didn't even look up from her computer, she just pointed in the direction of his office. I knocked on the door, and I walked in after hearing a faint 'come in.'

"Sit Ms. Ross, we need to talk."

I walked further into the room and sat down in the chair across from Mr. Pearson.

He finally looked up from his computer and folded his hands as he placed them on his desk in front of him.

"So I hear you're going on tour with One Direction and Five Seconds of Summer."

"Yeah, I am! We're going to be gone for a year, and I get to celebrate my-"

"You can't go."

"WHAT?!?" I shouted at him. "Sorry... What?"

"I'm sorry, but you have to focus on your music now, and I can't have you going on tour with a competing record company right now. I'm sorry."

"But-"

"No buts.." He said as a small frown formed on his face. "I'm really sorry Lily."

Suddenly, the door opened and the woman from the front desk walked in.

"Mr. Pearson, your four o'clock is here.."

"Okay, thank you Ally, send him in."

The woman stalked out of the room, and Mr. Pearson turned to face me again.

"I'm truly sorry Mrs. Ross."

"Yeah, whatever, it's fine."

I walked out of the office and got into my car where I finally let the tears fall freely. When I finally composed myself, I started the car and drove home, a lot slower than necessary. When I finally got home and parked the car, I sat in the peace of the car, mentally preparing myself to go inside, but it was too late.

"You okay?" Harry asked me as he opened the car door.

"Yeah I'm fine. Are you okay?" I asked him as I got out of the car.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Are you sure you're okay?" he asked me, eyeing me skeptically.

"I'm fine Harry!" I snapped. "Sorry.."

"Tell me what's wrong."

"I'm fine, okay?"

"Okay... You would tell me if there was something wrong though, right?"

"Yeah, totally." I told him.

"Okay." He said as he walked away with a disappointed look on his face.

I felt really bad for lying to him, but I just didn't want to talk to him about it right now.

I went inside and went into my room and sat on my bed. Then, someone decided to walk into my room right at the time that the tears started falling.

"Lily, are you okay?!?" Maddie said frantically as she came into my room and rushed to my side.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I tried, but I knew it wasn't going to work.

"You're crying, don't lie to me, what's wrong?"

"I can't go on tour." I told her.

"WHY?!? Is it your mom again?"

"No, management won't let me go because I need to 'focus on my music.'"

"I'm so sorry Lily, is there any way out of it?"

"Unless I say that I quit, then no."

She didn't say anything to that, she just pulled me into a big hug.

"You haven't told Harry have you?"

"No... I don't know how to tell him."

"Well... Just tell him." she told me.

"Yeah, I guess so... Thanks Mads."

"Anytime, now I am so sorry, but I have to go. I love you girlie."

"Love you too."

She stood up and walked away, leaving me feeling extremely alone. I eventually got tired of feeling alone, so I went down the hallway and knocked on Harry's door.

"Yeah?" he said very groggily, which I understood considering it was two in the morning.

"Hey, sorry for waking you up, I just needed someone to talk to."

"It's fine, what's up?"

"The sky!" I laughed. "Sorry, it's just that I have really bad news."

"What is it?" He asked, a worried look forming on his face.

"I-I-I can't go on tour with you..."

"What? Why?!?" He asked me.

"According to management, I have to focus on my music, and they don't want me traveling with bands from other record companies."

He pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back.

"I'm so sorry..." I told him.

"Hey." He said as he pulled away from the hug to look at me, not letting go of my shoulders. "It's not your fault. You couldn't control it, and yeah, of course I'm sad, but It'll be okay."

"Thank you for being so calm about this. I honestly thought you were going to freak out a little bit."

"Of course, that's what I'm here for."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"It's two in the morning, so I'm want to go back to sleep if that's okay." he laughed.

"Yeah, of course, I'm going to go back to bed too. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Love."
