Maddison POV
I'm a reasonable person. I am, but who the fuck does she think she is turning up at my baby's funeral. I'm so mad. I'm also mad that instead of Brad supporting me on the hardest day of my live he decides to go talk to them. Aye well he can go fuck himself. I walk over to Anne and Ruby. I put my arms out.

"Come to mummy baby girl" I say taking her from Anne.

"Are you sure you are okay?" Anne asks knowing what I've just seen.

"Dandy" I reply putting Ruby in her pram getting her changing bag and walking out the golf club. I go back to our house where I empty all of mine and Ruby's clothes into 3 big suitcases and put them in my car. I get her travel cot and blankets and bottles and milk and nappies and wipes and everything else that's she needs and throw it in the car. I put Ruby in her seat in the car and fold up the pram and put it in as well. Brad clearly doesn't care about us as he still hasn't got in contact. I call Lucy.

"Hello?" She says.

"Hey Lucy I know you and Connor have just got your new place but I have had a pretty big fall out with Brad and was wondering if you wouldn't mind having me an Ruby for a few days."

"Oh my god sure that's fine I'll make up the spare room for you's and you can tell me about it when you get here"

"Thank you" I say hanging up the phone starting the car and driving to Lucy and Connors. When I get here Connor helps me unload all our stuff and I take in Ruby. Lucy hugs me and I hug her back.

"Are you okay?" She asks. I nod and look at the time. 8:00pm. I took my phone out to see streams of messages from Brad.

'Babe where are you?'

'Don't do this to me in scared where are you?'

'Let me explain the situation'

'Please Maddison answer me. Tell me you are okay.'

-to Brad-
'Me and your daughter are fine I'm not up for talking to you today you have hurt me bad Brad and I can't deal with anymore stress on the hardest day of my life. So you just take care of Katie and Abby and I'll watch our little girl.'

I feed Ruby while Connor and Lucy make dinner. When I'm done feeding her I quickly change her and put her up to bed. Luckily Connor had set the travel cot up in the spare room for me. I come down and dinner is ready. We all eat and Connor says he is going out. He kisses Lucy and hugs me tight. Me and Lucy have a glass of wine and I tell her everything. She is equally annoyed at Brad and his behaviour today as i am. I needed him and he wasn't there for me.

"But babe you need to talk to him. You know you are welcome here for as long as you like, but you and brad do need each other at this time plus the boys are going on tour soon." I open my mouth in shock I completely forgot they were going on tour. I put my head in my hands. "But it's okay babe, I had an idea why don't I move in with you and Ruby while they are away because to be honest I don't want to stay here on my own for two mouths." A smile appears on my face.

"That's such a good idea" I beam.

"Yeah but girl you need to hear Brad out and see why he did what he did at least give him a chance to explain" I know she's right so I nod and pull out my phone.

-to Brad-
Meet me tomorrow at Starbucks at 10am and we can talk and you can explain. I'm going to miss your cuddles tonight X

-from Brad-
Great idea baby. I love you and I love my rubster. See you tomorrow my darling. I love you to the moon and back. Ps the bed is cold without you. X

With that me and Lucy make our way upstairs.

"Connor text he's not coming home he is staying at a mates. Wanna share a bed like old times." I burst out laughing remembering all the drunk nights we stayed at each other's houses.

"Yeah let's" I say and we both jump into bed and fall asleep as I knew it wouldn't be long before rubster was up looking for food.
