Brads POV
I'm glad Maddison has finally realised that she has to be a mother to Ruby as hard as it's going to be. She is sat on the sofa still holding Ruby.

"Come on babe we better get home" I say to her and we pack up Ruby's things and head back to our house. When we get back Ruby is hungry.

"Brad I don't think I can breast feed her" she says and I nod. My mum had put the rest of the formula she used in her changing back so I got it out and started to make Ruby a bottle I see Maddison try to confront her as she screams for a bottle. The bottle if finally ready and I take it over to her. Maddison takes the bottle and proceeds to feed Ruby.

"Babe how are you doing?" I ask her.

"I'm getting there, it's going to take some time to get use to but I'm sure I'll be fine" she says tears starting to form in her eyes. "You are holding up really well Brad I'm so proud of you." She says and I start to tear up.

"I'm trying to be strong for my two girls and I know Emily would want me to carry on and look after you's two" Maddison smiles and nods and put Ruby down after her bottle. She takes a while to come out of the room so I walk up and see her standing next to Emily's cot with her hands on it. "Babe" I say softly putting my arms around her her waist.

"She's really gone Brad our baby girl she's really gone" she says sobbing. I rub her back!

"Listen we need to move on darling, I know we love her but we have Ruby to think about" I say Turing her around and kissing her. I lead her down stairs and put on her favourite show and gave her ice cream. I go upstairs quietly and dismantle Emily's cot as hard as it was I had to do so it wasn't another constant reminder. When I get downstairs I see Maddison asleep in the sofa the spoon fallen on the floor I pick it up and put the ice cream back in the freezer and carry her upstairs to bed. I lay her down and out the covers over her. I walk down stairs and put the TV on and relax.

*BUZZ BUZZ*
Hospital calling

"Hello?" I say

"Hello Mr Simpson it's Dr Rycard it's just to say Emily's body is ready to be discharged and for a funeral to be held for her." I stay silent I hadn't even thought about the funeral.

"em okay, I'll need to speak to my girlfriend tomorrow and see what's happening and I'll get back to you" I say hanging up the phone and putting my head in my hands and start sobbing.
