Twenty seven

Maddies POV
I woke it with my head rested on Brads chest. I rubbed my eyes coming back to the realisation I was still in hospital after James pushed me over while fighting with Brad. I wanted to wake Brad up so I tired to move. He started running is eyes and they adjusted to the bright light of my hospital room.

"Morning" I say sweetly

"Morning baby" Brad says in his morning voice. Someone came in the door.

"Morning Mr and Mrs Greenfield"

"No just Miss Greenfield" I say slightly embarrassed that she thought me and Brad were married.

"Oh sorry and to think I have your records right in front only me." She laughs "I'm so embarrassed"

"Don't worry about" Brad says to her.

"Maddie it's just to tell you we have monitored you over night and you seem fine to go home today. If you have any pain at all come straight in!" She turns to Brad "will you be with her?"

"Yes i will and I'll take her in!"

"Great! Have you got a car just now." She asks Brad.

"Yeah I do I got a hire one while we are here." Brad says

"Okay great once you fill out this paper work you are free to go." She smiles at us leaving us with the paper work and walking out.

"Babe can you pack my things and I'll fill this out?" I ask Brad kissing his neck.

"Yeah sure." He says turning round kissing me.

"What happened with James?" I say sitting on my bed now filling out the paper work.

"I ignored him through the whole show I think fans noticed at the meet and greet"

"Brad this can affect your career, you know I won't be aloud to stay."

"I know babe it'll be fine. I'm just a bit pissed at him for nearly killing my girlfriend never mind nearly raping you also because he's an obsessed freak." Brad says this and I begin to cry.

"Babe no please don't cry, I won't let him touch you." Brad says hugging me.

"Maybe I shouldn't be here around him he scares me." I cry even louder.

"Hey I need you. I won't let anything happen to you I promise. I won't let you out of my sight or at least I won't leave you on your own."

"We should go I'm done here" I say standing up away from him and putting all the papers together and we left the room. I put the papers at reception and signed out. Brad led me to his hire car which was a car with no roof.

"Cool right?" Brad asks me smirking pointing at his hire car.

"Why don't you get one for back in the UK babe?" I ask smiling

"I think i might do you like it honey?" He asks sitting in the driver seat next to me.

"Yeah it's cool"

"Let's get you back babe" he starts up the car and we pull out of the drive way.

"Brad?"

"Yes baby?"

"Why did you choose the show over coming with me?"

"You said yourself if you got in the way you'd have to go, please don't bring this up I have to give back to the fans what they gave us."

"It's a bit different when I'm lying in hospital nearly dying"

"I'm sorry Maddie but I had no choice like I said last night."

"And I told you Brad that you did have a fucking choice and that was to go to the show and leave your supposed girlfriend to die in hospital."

"Maddie don't be so stupid." I see brads hands grip on the steering wheel. "I have changed a lot for you don't make me go back to my old ways."

"What were your old ways?"

"You wouldn't want to know."

"I heard a lot of rumours back at school that you use to hit your girlfriends is thus true Brad?"

"If you are asking you obviously believe it!"

"I'm asking because you said about your old ways." He pulls into a lay by and slams on his breaks.

"DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY MADISON!" He screams at me.

"Brad your scaring me." I begin to cry. "This is not the Brad I know and love"

"Well maybe it's not anymore." With that he continues to drive to the hotel. We get up to the room and he heads for the door we go inside and I put my stuff on the bed. Brad starts to walk back to the door.

"I thought you said you wouldn't leave me I'm scared to be alone incase James comes back"

"You said you were scared of me!" He smashes a plant pot on the floor.

"Brad!" I scream in fright. What has happened to him?
