Brad POV
I feel really bad about what I said to Maddison in the hospital. Out baby girl is dead and I can't really come to terms with what has happened. I move around in the bed and notice Maddison is gone. I go downstairs and look and she's still not anywhere to be seen. I call my mum in hope she has gone to pick up Ruby.

"Hello?" My mum says.

"Hello! Mum? Is Maddison there?" I ask

"No honey why?"

"she's not in the house and I don't know where else she'd be. How has Ruby been?" I ask her.

"Amazing she's a Wee Angel but we need more milk so if you don't find Maddison soon I'll have too give her formula."

"Okay I'll get back to you as soon as I find her. When is she due a bottle"

"An hour" my mum says.

"Okay bye" I say hanging up and checking Round the house once more. I even checked in closets as I'm not sure of her mental state right now, but still not here. I call Caitlin, Lucy and Olivia and none of them have heard from her. When I tell them and the boys the devastating news they are all so cut up for us and trying to help me find Maddison its been over an hour and I know Ruby will be screaming for a bottle so I phone my mum back.

"You'll just have to give her formula mum I can' t find her" I say

"Should you not phone the police."

"No then they'll phone social services for Ruby if she is not mentally fit to care for her and we can't loose two babies mum"

"Okay I understand" my mum sighs hanging up the phone. I call Maddison's phone over and over again still no answer. I'm starting to get worried now, but there was one place I hadn't checked. I picked up the phone and dialled the number.

"Hello" the voice says.

"Hello Mrs Greenfield its Brad, is Maddison there?"

"Yes son she is and she is not in a good way right now she told me about Emily and we are both trying to come to terms with it."

"Can I come over and see her"

"I'm she she'd love that." Her mum says. I stop by my mums and pick up Ruby hoping that will help Maddison move on and see we have another beautiful daughter to care for. I knock on the door and her mum takes Ruby's car seat out my hand. I walk into the living room to see Maddison wrapped up in a blanket watching the TV.

"Hey babe" I say she turns and looks at me.

"Why is she here?" Maddison's says clearly talking about Ruby

"Because she's our daughter" I say

"But every time I look at her I just see Emily, how will I possibly bond with her."

"Do you love her" she looks at me shocked.

"Of course I do" she says I walk over and take Ruby in my arms I place her on Maddison's knee. And Maddison's bursts into tears.

"I won't let anything happened to you my baby, mummy promises" she says wiping her tears away as i kiss the top of their heads.
