Twenty eight

Maddison POV
I see the smashed plant pot on the floor I look
up at Brad. Tears forming in my eyes.

"What never seen a guy have a rage before?" He spat at me.

"This is not you Brad. This is not how I remember you."

"Stop saying that Maddison you are making me more angry." Brad screams.

"Do you not love me anymore?" I ask it was more meant to be a thought in my head but it just came out.

"Fuck your Maddison. Of course I do. How could you say that!! Fuck this I'm done" he says going to open the door handle.

"No Brad please wait, I'm insecure I needed to know you still loved me." I say shutting the door.

"Maddison move!"

"Don't leave me here alone Brad please."

"What's going on in there" I hear Connors voice say from behind the door. Then Brad grabs my shoulders and throws me to the floor.

"Ouch!" I I scream holding my arm that I fell on. I began to get dizzy as I just came out of hospital with a head injury.

"Brad my head it doesn't feel right."

"Maddison I'm sorry." Connor and Olivia bust through the door.

"What the fuck did you do this time Brad you fucking woman beater." Olivia spits at Brad.

"I'm not a woman beater" Brad defends himself.

"Well what's this..." Olivia says before been cut off.

"Enough."'Connor says to them keeling down next to me. "Maddison are you okay." I nod in response. Connor picks me up and places me on the bed. I hear the door slam shut.

"Brad! Where is he?? I need him."

"Stop going back to him he is a woman beater." Olivia shouts.

"No he's not!! James is the bad guy in all of this! None of yous said anything when he pushed me!!" I shout

"Of course we did Maddison we still aren't really on speaking terms! Look at the way Brad has messed up your room and thrown you about! How can you let him away with this!" Connor says rubbing my sore shoulder.

"Because I L-Love him.." I shutter and cry at the same time.

Brads POV

I had never hit Maddison before. I have had a bad past something I never shared with Maddison, I thought I'd moved on I thought my anger issues were over. I have had anger management but nothing seemed to work. When I got angry I just flip. It doesn't mean I don't love Maddison I do, she means so much to me and I never wanted to hurt her. She will never take me back now. I have to try.

With that thought I make my way back to the hotel. I'm standing outside the door ready to open it. I put the key in the door and open it slowly. I hear soft snores from mine and Maddison's bedroom. I walk in to see her sweet innocent face lying on the bed sleeping. Olivia sleeping on my side of the bed. I walk over to Maddison and run her face where I hit her. She flinches in pain and her eyes flicker open.

"Maddison" I whisper she sits up and moved to the back of the bed against the head board in fear. "I'm not going to hurt you baby, I'm sorry, I-I"

"You what Brad look at my face, look at my arm! What the hell got into you?" Maddison asks.

"I'm sorry I just, got angry you know how I get I didn't mean it though. I didn't want you to leave." I say

"I wasn't going to leave." Maddison says. Olivia stirs next to us.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" She shouts hugging Maddison.

"I love her and would never hurt her intentionally! She wants me here right Maddison?" I ask Turing to Maddie.

"I do want him here Olivia he means a lot to me and I want to work things out with him." Maddison says.

"Well I have tried to warn you Maddison but you never listen to me! I'm done. Have fun with your abusive boyfriend." Olivia shouts storming out of the room.

Maddison's POV

"How many times do I have to forgive you before you actually Buck up and be a real boyfriend. I'm scared of you Brad."

"Don't baby please don't be scared of me. I love you and care so much about you."

"How am I not suppose to be scared of you Brad! You hit me, you shouted at me! Everyone thinks I should leave you and I'm getting close to thinking that myself!"

"That is not what you want Maddie! Please let me show you how sorry I am! Tomorrow we have the day off,  I'll take you for a date a real one show you how much I love you"

"You have tomorrow to prove yourself to me or I'm on the first flight home!" Brad hugs me tightly before we get into bed and go to sleep. All I keep thinking about is Olivia and how I treated her.
