Brads POV
"What the hell are you doing here?" I say turning to look at him anger washes over my face.

"Maddison you said he was a nice boy" he says bursting with laughter my fists are clenched as I try and stay calm after being told what he did to her. "Listen Bradley son I was released a few years early from prison due to good behaviour and I heard about my daughters great misfortune loosing one of her twins so I thought I better come and see her, to you know confront her" he says this smiling and I want nothing more than to wipe that smile off his face I see Maddison's tears become heavier and all I want to do is cuddle her and tell her everything's going to be okay. "I also hear you just proposed to my daughter, now now Bradley son you should have asked my permission" he says staring at me.

"I don't think you are in any position to have a say in Maddison's future." I say my fists still firmly clenched together.

"I don't think that's true I did contribute to her existence" he says turning his head and winking at Maddison.

"Don't wink at her like that" I say being unable to control my anger much longer.

"Do you even know why I was in jail, because last I heard Maddison was a bit of a closed book about it all and wouldn't tell anyone" he says smiling thinking he had won some kind of battle.

"Actually I do know what you did and I think you are a poor excuse of a man and an even poorer excuse for a father, you are a disgrace and should be ashamed of yourself!" I say shouting. He purely laughs.

"Think what you like boy but she was my daughter my flesh and blood therefore I can do as I wish with her" that's when it all got too much for me and I jumped on him pinned him down and started punching him.

"BRAD NO STOP PLEASE NO!!" I hear Maddison screaming. "BRAD HE HAS A KNIFE!!!!" After she said that I felt a strong pain in the bottom of my stomach. I fall off Maddison's dad and onto the floor holding where there was a blood stain. I hear someone open and close the bedroom door and run down stairs.

"Hello, hello,"

"Emergency services what can I help you with." I hear a women say faintly on the phone.

"I need an ambulance to 87 tallbank road please my partner has been stabbed." I hear Maddison say on the phone before I drift out of consciousness.
