Brads POV
I wake up the next morning next to Maddison so I put my arms around her and hug her tightly.

"Good morning baby" I whisper in her ear. I can feel her smile and she turns.

"Morning" she smiles and I kiss her lips.

"I'm going to make a phone call to my lawyer today, how would you feel if I tired to get full custody of Abby." I say to Maddison and I see her face drop.

"But Brad I struggle as it is with Ruby how can I add another child to the mix I don't feel it would be fair on her." She says and look at her sympathetically.

"Babe you are an amazing mum and Abby loves you, you will be great and I think we have a good case to win." I say and I see her face is still slightly unsure.

"But Brad you are away for three months next month how will I cope without you?" She asks and I hug her and she cries.

"My mum will help and I'm sure your mum would too" she smiles and me and nods her head.

"Let's do it lets get Abby and we can be a complete family." I smile at her words realising now she is on board. I stand up and leave the room to phone my lawyer.

"Hello Mrs Hutchison it's Brad Simpson about the Abby Simpson case." I say.

"Yes Mr Simpson hello, I'm afraid I have bad news Katie is wanting to take this to court and she is deeming Maddison an unfit mother due to the death of Emily." My face turns red with anger.

"That is so untrue she died of caught death." I say

"That hasn't yet being confined by hospital to the courts so we need to wait for that to be finalised. It's not looking too good right now mr Simpson I'm sorry." With that I hang the phone up and slide down the wall. How will I tell Maddison the reason they won't let us have Abby.
