Maddison's POV
"Brad what do you mean who am I? I'm your fiancé, Maddison" Brad stares at me confused. I turn to the doctor. "What's wrong with him? He had no head injuries." I say

"No he didn't but he lost a lot of blood which can cause memory lose hopefully it will only be temporary but we are still unsure of Mr Simpsons future state and if he will ever regain all of his memory" the doctor says. "He knows his name and his family and his home address but other than that-" I cut him off.

"What's did he say his home address was?" I ask desperate thinking he might even remember we live together.

"6 gill head road." He simply states.

"No no that's where he use to live he moved in with me to 87 tallbank road."

"He may have forgotten things from a certain point in his life." The doctor says.

"Where is my family? MUM! DAD!" Brad screams. Then suddenly they came running in hugging him.

"Brad has some short term memory loss, he can't remember me of where he lives he thinks he still lives with you" I say to them. They stare at Brad.

"I do live with my family you crazy lady" Brad says.

"I'm not a crazy lady I'm the mother of your child." I say shouting at him slightly.

"Excuse me miss I don't think that'll do Brad any good maybe you should leave and come back tomorrow." The doctor says. All Brad family nod I agreement. I walk out and sit in my car. I burst into tears and hammer on the steering wheel.

"WHY?" I scream over and over again. When I calm down I decided to drive home if I knew Brad was okay I would have gone and stayed at my mums with Ruby but I don't feel like explaining any of this to her. I arrive home and unlock the door. I see a figure standing in my kitchen.

"AHHHH!" I scream wanting nothing more than for Brad to be here to protect me. When they turned on the light I noticed it was my dad.

"Hello, how's your boyfriend" he questions.

"fiancé and he is terrible thanks to you he can't even remember me or Ruby he has short term memory loss, so thanks for ruining my life once again but I guess it's what you are good at." I say annoyed. "You better leave the police are out looking for you and I imagine the scene of the crime is going to be one of the first places they check." I say stutter due to my nerves of the man that abused me for years and stabbed my fiancé standing in front of me. He nods his head and walks past me slowing down when he got close to me.

"Bye baby cakes." He whispers in my ear and my breath hitches that's what he use to call me years ago. I calm myself down lock all the windows and doors and finally fall asleep.

The next morning I get up and get ready and make my way over to pick up Ruby. When I'm there I explain everything to my mum.

"I'm planning taking Ruby up there to see him, see if that brings back anything from him." she nods and smiles and me and Ruby leave. When we arrive at the hospital I feel butterflies in my stomach. I get to his room and open the door quietly. He looks from me then to Ruby and his smile grows.

"Brad this is Our daughter." I place Ruby in his arms and he looks at her and smiles.

"Yes Ruby and you are my fiancé Maddison" I look at him and smile.

"Yes yes that's us" I say happily kissing his lips passionately. We both smile at each other and kiss Ruby's head.
