Brads POV
Maddison walks out of our bedroom.

"Hey babe what's up why you on the floor? I'm just going to pick Ruby up." She says sitting down next to me.

"Maddison out lawyer says that Katie said to the court you were an unfit mother and that there was no way Abby could come live with us." I say which breaks my heart.

"What? How did she back up her argument?" I stare at her no wanting to answer her.

"She said because Emily died" I say chocking on my words. Her eyes start to stream.

"What do you mean?" She says tears rolling down her cheek. "It wasn't my fault." She says I stay silent. "Brad?" I still stay silent unsure of what to say."oh my god you think it was my fault don't you. Oh my god"

"No-no-" but before I could finish she ran off crying. I put my head in my hands.

Maddison's POV
Brad thinks Emily's death was my fault I secretly thought he did think that deep down but he never said it and I didn't want to believe it. I ran out the door and into the car. I pull out of the drive and get to the junction where I ca either go left or right if I go right I go to my mums and pick up Ruby or if I choose left I can run away from all this and start again a fresh life where I can find a boyfriend that doesn't think I'm a terrible mum. I pull out left and make my way down the long road that seemed never ending. I made my choice.

It started to get really dark and I was running out of fuel I went into the gas station to fill up. I was alone and it was quite scary I started filling up and suddenly I felt a bang on my head and next thing I knew I was bundled in to the boot of a car screaming until tape was out over my mouth.

Brads POV
Maddison's mum phones saying Maddison hadn't come to collect Ruby so i went to get her. She was sleeping now and there was still no sign of Maddison I phoned her constantly but nothing. It went straight to answer phone. When me and Maddison fell out she or I would leave but would be back within the hour. This had been 6 hours and still nothing form her. Now I'm worried.
