66. Bryan
"Dad, Mom, what was that? Totoo ba yun? May proof ba kayo?"
"What am I going to do? It seems lumaki pa yung kasalanan ko. Ngayon pati si Dee galit sa akin."
"Anong ibig mong sabihin?"
"You hated me because it was me who wanted to throw a party, hindi ba, Dad? And now, Daniella hates me, too.
"I never blamed you for Bettina's death, Bryan. I'm sorry if you felt that way. But I was in pain sa pagkawala ni Bettina. That's why I chose to stay away.
Tumayo si Dad and left the table.
I sighed. "I'm sorry, Mom."
"I understand. Leave it to me. I'll talk to him." "Thanks, Mom. Ano po kaya ang dapat kong gawin
para magkaayos kami ni Dee? I don't wanna lose her." "Talk to her, she'll understand. She was shocked and
that's normal. I know magkakaayos din kayo. May reason kung bakit kayo nagkatagpo."
"What's that?"
"Maybe you met her so you can take care of her. So don't let go, pagsubok lang yan. Go, follow your happiness."
Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya. "Thanks, Mom.
I kissed her goodbye and hurriedly left the restaurant, sure of where to find her.
Hintayin mo ako, Dee. Kaya natin ito. Maaayos natin ito.
