The light of the refrigerator flicked on as the door was pulled open. Blue eyes scanned every shelf thoroughly until they landed on a rectangular container. Denmark reached out to it and held it up proudly. As he felt the extreme light weight of the milk carton, he peeked inside while tilting it to the side. As he had suspected, it was empty.
The blond country closed the door and threw the box in the trash, disgruntled. He picked his bowl of cereal off the counter and eyed them sadly. The colorful breakfast was too dry to eat without milk and Denmark really wanted his bowl of cereal, despite it being six in the afternoon. He placed it back down and creeped in the hallway, peeking in the small office.
"Nor?"
The said country kept his eyes glued to his computer, the screen reflecting on his glasses. He didn't respond and pursued typing.
"Nor."
"What is it Denmark? I'm busy with paperwork," responded the blond, jaded. His expression was blank but his eyes concentrated. Denmark stood in the doorway and sheepishly looked at his boyfriend. "How much do you love me?" asked the blue eyed nation. His lover immediately responded though did not unglue his eyes from the screen.
"Immensely." Norway paused and shot a quick glance at Denmark before continuing speaking. "I'd move mountains for you," added the violet eyed country while shifting his glasses, still concentrated on his screen. Denmark nodded and quickly spoke again. "Would you get milk?" tempted the dorky man.
"Let's not exaggerate," answered Norway in the second.
"If you want to eat something, go make a proper dinner."
Denmark shook his head. "No, I don't want to! Cereal is faster and yummier!" whined the country. The busy blond looked up to his boyfriend and shot him an exasperated look over the edge of his glasses. Denmark sighed and crossed his arms. He puffed his cheeks and waited in silence. Norway completely ignored the tall blond and successfully forgot about his existence for the time it lasted.
Denmark squinted his eyes and glared at his lover in hope he could somehow telepathically control him to buy milk. Though lacking that sort of power, Norway did not budge. The blue eyed man slapped his hands on his sides and pouted. "Fine. What do you want for dinner?" grumbled Denmark, defeated.
Norway raised his eyes and cracked a smile. He rested his chin on one hand while the other glided on the trackpad. "An omelet would be perfect dear," grinned triumphantly the violet eyed country. Denmark blushed and trudged back into the hallway. "Alright but you have to set up the table," bargained the man from afar.
His boyfriend simply hummed in agreement, a sweet smile still present on his face. "Of course." Norway terminated his work and removed his glasses then left the office to help his lover, but only after glomping him to death.
