The strong smell of paint stung the artist's nose as he traced over the wall covered in bright colors. His fingertips lingered over the cement until he reached a blank spot. Dropping his bag to the ground, Alfred tied a bandana in the back on his head. After opening the bag, he shook a can of spray paint then covered the wall with a bright red. He tossed another bottle in the air, catching it with his left hand and began spraying the gray paint.
As he worked, Alfred's eyes caught a glimpse of a certain graffiti on the far right. He shot glances at it while pursuing his own art. Curiosity taking over, he dropped the cans into his bag and walked up to the intriguing painting. His eyes widened in awe at the beauty of the illustration. The scenery was spectacular; a dark green forest with a lake the color of a night sky. The painting was approximately seventy centimeters on fifty. Though small compared to others, it stood out. The trees seemed to lure you between their trunks, the dark shadows begging you to follow them, the silence filling your mind with nothingness. The hypnotizing artwork trapped Alfred for more than a minute. He was tempted to press his hand against the wall, determined it would allow him to enter that dark, eerie but calm, soothing world.
Gliding over the pigments with his hands, the blond stopped once reaching the bottom right corner. The initials A.K. were neatly written. Alfred took a step back and admired the art one last time before getting back to his own work, a spark of inspiration flaming through his veins.

Along the alley wall were plastered posters over posters. The beaten up fence barely stood up alone on the opposite side of the covered up facade. The earsplitting sound of the metro passing on the tracks above scared off local cats. Walking down the dirty alley was Alfred, hands in his pockets and head hung low. The nipping cold was something he despised but was forced to live with in order to fulfill his need to paint. Bag strapped to his shoulders, he hastily sought a perfect emplacement for his next picture.
Just over the edge of his glasses, the blond noticed a certain graffiti running over old posters. It was huge. Probably going over two meters in height and three in width. Alfred skipped back and stood facing the imposing image. A long breath escaped his lips and formed a small cloud rising into the air as he contemplated in wonder. The illustration depicted an underwater shipwreck.
Marine blue covered most of the wall with occasional strokes of sky blue used for the sun rays. Lingering in the darkness of the ship, laid remains of the human life from before. In the background floated unclear, dark figures, rushing one into the other. Covered up by the black sand were pieces of broken wood, fragments of teared up sails and a dirtied flag bearing the Jolly Roger. Serrated rocks poked inside the boat's hull holding it steadily over an obscure abyss.
The chilling and sinister aspect of the painting made Alfred shiver. Its colors and forms would frighten any man, the daunting image clearly emitting a creepy aura. Although it was ominous, the graffiti artist felt at ease and untroubled. The dark pigments and menacing shapes had a deeper meaning to him. As an artist himself, he was able to feel the sentiment the creator tried to convey. Staring into the gloomy abyss, Alfred attempted to relate to the artist and understand the true meaning of the graffiti.
His eyes landed on the bottom left corner and noticed the same initials he had seen before, A.K. He glanced back up to the entirety of the picture with an amused feeling.
Alfred's fingers twitched inside his pockets, he wasn't able to hold back any longer. He opened his sack and glided to the right, immediately spraying the orange paint a couple centimeters away from the illustration. A smile slowly crept on his visage as he hid his face in the crook of his elbow.
