~Flashback~
Lukas looked at him slightly worried as he approached him. He placed his hand under his chin and lifted it up. "One more thing, the name's Matthias, you might want to remember it, it'll be the only thing rolling off your tongue these days," Matthias whispered leaning in. Just before placing his lips on Lukas', he disappeared with a gust of wind.
Lukas stood in the basement all alone once again with now a small blush and heart beating very fast.
'Did a ghost just hit on me?!'
*
Storming through the house with water dripping off his soaked head, Lukas hollered on the top of his lungs.
"MAAATHIAAAASS!" repeated the wizard, furious. A whole week of horrors played in his mind as he vowed he would kill the spirit despite him being already deceased. Pranks, tricks, loud sounds, floating objects, all tortured the blond for days. The ghost occasionally showed himself to mock the boy then would disappear with a wink.
Having suffered enough, the wizard called his friends for help. One by one they arrived and met up with their fellow sorcerer. The usually tidy basement was filled with scattered papers, open books, spilled potions. In the center of the mess stood Lukas with the most tired and irritated expression ever.
"What in the world happened? Is everything alright?" asked Arthur worriedly. Vladimir picked up a couple sheets and sighed with a toothy grin. "Looks like a hurricane passed through here," commented the brunet laying against a desk.
"I wish," groaned Lukas rubbing the side of his head. "Poltergeist."
"What? Really?" exclaimed Arthur shooting his head up. "How did this happen? Did you try a new spell without studying it properly..?" The blond slumped on his chair and shook his head. "No... Remember that time we tried to summon a forest troll and it didn't work?" The Brit nodded wide-eyed and Vladimir scratched the back of his head nervously. "Well it went wrong somewhere and this... spirit popped up from who knows where. Ever since he has turned my life into a nightmare."
Both wizards gawked at their friend incredulously. They had already dealt with spirits, usually to ask questions about the past for history projects, but they normally went back to wherever they came from. But from the state of Lukas' basement and the size of his bags, they instantly believed spirits were much more than ancient Wikipedias.
"Bu-but... we could try sending him back right? To the undead world I mean..." proposed Arthur opening a scattered grimoire and running through the pages. He gasped in delight and held the book up so the others could see. Just as he pointed to a certain passage a figure suddenly materialized behind Lukas.
"Hey Lu-..." the floating man stopped abruptly and stared at the two new faces. He hid his hands behind his back and tensed. His smile turned upside down and he glared. "I didn't know we had guests," frowned the spirit. Lukas and Vladimir spun around. The host sighed staring at the levitating being.
"Yes, I have guests... Or should I have consulted you since you practically live here too... Though you don't pay any bills as far as I know," grumbled the placid wizard. Matthias' features softened and he gazed down upset. He approached them raising a finger with his second hand behind his back.
Suddenly his face dropped and he threw glances from Lukas to the book Arthur was holding. All three boys keeked at the large textbook then the green-eyed sorcerer slammed it shut in realization, smiling nervously. Lukas whipped his head around and held both hands up palms open.
"H-hey, wait, we can explain," began the blond. Matthias floated backwards his hand on his chest, deeply offended. "You are trying to get rid of me," sniffled the ghost.
