Shianne pov

I sit on the cold, metal bleachers, looking around the crowded gym. He still hasn't showed up. He said he was busy but I thought maybe he could make it.

The principal stands on the stage in front of the bleacher, telling the students to sit down in the microphone. Everyone finally gets quiet and he starts talking. I'm not listening though. I keep thinking about Hayes.

He was the only one who made me feel welcome here. I was always the nerd who sat in the corner reading a book. The one who would rather have her thoughts and imagination rather than other peoples company.

But then Hayes came along with his persistent personality and decided we were going to be friends.

About a year after that him and his brother started getting famous. He still stayed faithful to our friendship he was just gone a lot.

He had tours and meetings but he would always remember to call me and send me good morning and goodnight texts. Before the left do this tour he decided to make it official.

I was so happy to be his girlfriend yet still a little depressed I couldn't be with him for the first few weeks of our relationship. He said he loved me and wouldn't forget me. But I'm starting to have second thoughts.

My thought are interrupted by the principal announcing he's going to start giving out awards.

"Best attendant record goes to. Juliana Michael",he says as we all clap. She gets her award and sits back down. I keep my eyes on the door, tuning everyone out.

"Shianne Berger",I freeze as I hear my name being called. I stand up, my legs starting to shake. I wipe my sweaty hands on my pants and make my way down the bleachers.

"Shit. I dont even know what I won",I whisper to myself.

I walk to the stage, being careful not to trip over my own feet, and take the medal from my teachers hands. I give him a smile and start to walk back to my seat.

Someone waving there arms in the air catches my eye. I look over to the exit and see Hayes and all of the boys.(old magcon)

I contain my squeal and run towards him. I jump into his arms and latch on, as if I'm scared he will leave if I let him go. I feel him kiss my neck and I hug him tighter.

"I can't believe your here",I say as I let go and stand in front of him.

"Wow, we feel the love",Matt says folding his arms. I laugh and give them all hugs.

"Congratulations by the way",Shawn says.

"Thank you",I smile shyly.

I give Hayes one more hug and give him a sweet, short kiss.

"Good job baby girl",he says.

"You guys can come sit",I say gesturing to the empty row on the bottom of the bleachers.

We fill it up and watch the rest of the announcements. It's definitely way more fun with them.

I love all of them like my real family.
