Y/n pov

I was sitting on my best friend, Hayes' couch playing video games with him. This is pretty much what my life consists of. I throw my controller on the couch after my player dies for the fifth time.

"This game is rigged",I huff.

"Nah, you just suck",Hayes laughs.

"Fight me",I say with a straight face.

"Okay",Hayes shrugs.

Before I can comprehend what's happening, I'm picked up and gently thrown onto the floor. I laugh and punch blindly at Hayes as he "wrestles" me.

I get sick of losing and reach behind his neck. I pinch his collar bone, knowing thats his weakness. He lets go and curls his neck into his shoulders.

I take this chance to push him on his back and sit on top of him.

"I win",I smirk and rest my elbows on my knees.

"You cheated",he pouts like a little kid.

"Did not",I say and swing one of my legs over so I'm straddling him.

"Did to",he says.

"Did not",I say and lean closer to his face not braking eye contact.

Before I can stop myself I realized I've pressed my lips on his. He doesn't kiss back and eventually pulls away.

"I'm gay",he says quickly.

I sit up and bust out laughing. I hold my stomach as he pushes me on the floor and sits back on the couch. I finally catch my breath and sit up.

"Fucking mean ass",I hear Hayes mumble.

"I'm sorry but-",I cut myself off by laughing again.

"How can you just sit there and laugh at me because I'm gay?",he says getting angry.

"I'm not laughing at you because your gay",I explain and sit next to him on the couch.

"Then why were you laughing?",he says calming down.

"Because I'm gay too",I chuckle.

"What?",he stares at me in disbelief.

I laugh more and nod my head.

"The whyd you kiss me?",he asks unfolding his arms.

"Because I wanted to know what it would be like if I kissed a guy",I explain.

"Well how was it?",he asks.

"Eh",I shrug and grab the Xbox controller.

"Same",he says and grabs the other one.

Before we start playing he stops and stares at me.

"Promise we won't bring this up to anyone",he says sticking out his pinky.

"Promise",I say and lock our fingers.

We continue our game in comfortable conversation. Talking normal like nothing even happened.
