Yeri woke up the next morning to only see Tzuyu sitting in the kitchen, eating cereal. Once Tzuyu caught sight of Yeri, she stared at her for a second and took her cereal and left the kitchen and moved into her room. Yeri sighed and grabbed her coat before she left the dorm. It was already October the air was starting to get chilly.
Yeri rushed down the stairs of their building, hoping that no one would see her in the hallways and ask for a picture. She never liked being approached by fans in her free time but it was especially worse when it came to the dorms. She always worried if someone would see her and decide to follow her on her way home. She worried that she would lead someone dangerous to her dorm and that would have costly effects. These were the things that Yeri constantly had in her mind.
Yeri made it out of the building safely since she decided to take the stairs down. She noticed that Jungkook's car was sitting comfortably right in front of the building. She threw open the door and threw herself into the car. Jungkook, who was sitting on his phone, jumped from the shock of Yeri suddenly appearing in the car. He sighed in relief when he just saw that it was Yeri and smiled.
"How is everything? Why did you want to suddenly meet?" Jungkook asked as he put his phone down.
Yeri ran a hand through her hair. "Do you think we can just go? I really could use some air."
Jungkook let out a small laugh. "You do have some air. You are outside right now."
Yeri glared at him. It didn't take long for Jungkook to get the point and put the into drive. "So what's wrong?"
Yeri shrugged. "Everything."
Jungkook smiled. "Everything can't be wrong. I'm sorry Yeri, but that is impossible."
"But everything is going wrong!" Yeri sulked like a child. "My group is falling apart from the inside out, my company has no faith in us and they cancelled our promotions and I can't even talk to the members about taking action about it without them getting upset with me. Tzuyu didn't even talk to me this morning."
Jungkook bit his lip. "How are you trying to take action against Jellyfish?"
Yeri shrugged. "I mentioned just leaving the company, but-,"
"Wait, you what?" Jungkook's eyes started flaring when he glanced at Yeri and then back at the road.
"We talked about just leaving." Yeri softly said.
Jungkook drove the car into an alley that was away from the busy street that they were previously on. Jungkook turned to Yeri right after he put his car into park. "You want to leave Jellyfish?"
Yeri's eyes started to tear up when she nodded. "I just don't know what else to do Jungkook. They told me that they were thinking about kicking me out of the group."
Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed. "They really said that?"
Yeri nodded. "They made me come in for a conference when one of the guys said that they were thinking about kicking me out for the whole vision and bombing."
Jungkook turned away from Yeri and hit the steering wheel as hard as he could. Yeri stared at him with concern when he had the sudden fit. "Jungkook, stop."
Jungkook finally stopped a few seconds after Yeri told him to. His breaths were sharp and quick. "I'm sorry Yeri. This is all my fault."
"This has nothing to do with you." Yeri pointed out.
"If I didn't approach you and Koeun, you wouldn't have had to deal with any of this. You would be-,"
"I would be what?" Yeri asked blankly. "I would be sitting in my desk, talking to strangers and getting yelled at by Heechul everyday? You didn't do anything bad for me, Jungkook. I have wanted this for most of my life. It's just not how I envisioned all of this happening."
Jungkook bit his lip. "I support you Yeri. I support anything that you see yourself doing in the future. I will help you get a lawyer and get you and whoever else get out."
"Jungkook." Yeri drug his name out.
"No, Yeri. This is what needs to happen."
