Yeri was happier than she ever was. The girls were finally leaving the broadcast station for the last time until their next promotions. It was the final day of promoting their debut song and Yeri was thankful for it. Ever since their altercation with 99 Line, netizens were speculating that there was still lasting tensions between the two girl groups. Little did netizens know that they were completely right.

As the girls were riding in their company car, Yeri pulled out her phone. She hid the lit up screen from the other girls since she knew that they were trying to get the little amount of sleep that they could possibly muster. She clicked on Jungkook's name and sent a text to him asking if he wanted to get together that night.

She honestly had no faith that he would even reply. It was already two in the morning and he should already be sleeping. She just hoped that for some slim chance that he was having a hard time sleeping and he would see the text message and agree to meet her.

Yeri made sure to put her phone on vibrate so that she wouldn't wake up her other members from the vibration if Jungkook happened to text her back. Yeri took a second to close her own eyes and see if she could get a second of sleep. The broadcast station was at least thirty minutes away from the girls' dorms so she knew that if she did fall asleep, she would have a good amount of sleep before she would have to wake up again.

But Yeri's thoughts were busy. Yeri wondered about everything. She wondered if Jungkook would wake up and meet her for the first time since their promotions ended. She wondered if Jungkook even still liked her anymore. It has been so long since they have met, which gives him more than enough time to meet someone else and fall in love with her. It burned Yeri's thoughts to worry about it but she couldn't help it.

Yeri peeled her eyes open and noticed that only one minute had passed. For some reason, it felt like an eternity. Yeri decided that instead of trying to sleep, she would watch the street lights speed past her through the window. She didn't want to look at her phone for a few more minutes since she didn't want to get her hopes up of Jungkook contacting her back. She instead made herself focus on the lights outside so that she couldn't focus on any of the worries that boggled her mind.

Yeri did point out to herself that she was only this unhappy when she was promoting in a group. When she was living with Jungkook, she never felt unhappy. After she left SM and only met with Koeun on her own, she never felt unhappy. But for some reason, now that she was in another group, she was unhappy. She couldn't sleep or even be left along with her own thoughts.

There she went again. Thinking too much, which made her worse than ever before. It was like she was torturing herself with her own anxiety.

Yeri finally decided to pull out a pair of headphones to try to cover the voices in her head. When she turned on her phone to select a playlist, she noticed that Jungkook texted her back. She unknowingly smiled brightly and read the message. He said that he will be able to meet her at a local park in an hour. Yeri thought that it would be perfect timing. It was close enough for Yeri to walk comfortably to the park and it would give enough time for her members to get ready for bed and fall asleep before she would leave.

And that's exactly what Yeri did. When her groggy members woke up from their small nap in the car, they barely brushed their teeth and faces before they all moved to their respective rooms and fell into their deep sleep. Yeri acted like she was just as tired so that her members didn't suspect anything.

As Yeri was walking to the park she thought about how she didn't tell any of her members anything. She wondered if it was really a good choice to make. She knew that if something terrible like a fire happened, they would notice that Yeri wasn't there and they might even decide to go inside the burning dorm to rescue someone that was never there.

However, Yeri knew that there was no way to go past this. If she still wanted to see Jungkook on her own terms, her other members couldn't know, not even Koeun. She knew that they would either guilt trip her into not going to meet Jungkook or they would fess up to the managers if they asked where Yeri was due to their terrible lying skills.

Even though the company knew about Yeri and Jungkook, she knew that they wouldn't be happy about them meeting so freely. They said that they would stick up for her if something to happen, but that's what they say now. Things could change so easily in this industry, that Yeri wouldn't be surprised if the company left her out for the wolves when something happened. The company probably hoped that Yeri and Jungkook wouldn't see each other for a long period of time and drift apart naturally.

Yeri sighed when she finally arrived to the park. She scanned the scenery for a lone figure and finally noticed Jungkook sitting on a bench, waiting patiently. Like a flood of relief, Yeri ran to him without thinking twice. For some reason, whenever she met Jungkook, she felt like all of her worries didn't exist.

It didn't take long before Jungkook finally noticed Yeri charging him and stood up to greet her. Yeri threw herself into his arms and Jungkook spun her around. Once Jungkook finally set her down, she looked deep in Yeri's eyes. He smiled and didn't wait another second to scoop up her cheek in his hands and kiss her. It took Yeri a couple seconds to adjust to the sudden form of affection, but she finally did.

Yeri glanced at her phone when she was finally started to grow tired. She noticed that the sun was going to be rising in less than an hour and she looked at Jungkook apologetically.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook but I think that I have to leave now." Yeri bit her lip subtly.

Jungkook rubbed his own eyes and nodded. "I'm glad that you are finally saying it. I can sleep in for the rest of the day, but will you be able to sleep?"

Yeri nodded. "We don't have a schedule today and I'm sure the rest of the girls want to get their fair share of rest as well."

Jungkook nodded but grabbed Yeri's hand when she was about to rise off of the ground. "Just one more thing that I wanted to ask you."

Yeri looked at him curiously. "Go ahead." She let her body relax.

"I know it's been a while since I've asked something about our future, but I wanted to know what will happen to me. Will a get a new job soon?" Jungkook asked, giving her a nervous expression.

Yeri had been so interested with all of her drama that she totally forgot that Jungkook didn't have a job. He was supposed to be the girl's manager when he quit Jellyfish. Yeri just assumed that he found something since he was still living in his apartment, but he must've been supporting himself in some way.

"Of course." Yeri said. "Just think about your future with me."

Jungkook closed his eyes and Yeri took a second to admire his face. She smiled to herself by how she happened to trick him for a split second and closed her own eyes. But Yeri couldn't see anything but the back of her eyelids. Nothing. Pure blackness.

She peeled her eyes open and tapped on Jungkook's leg so that he could open his own eyes. "Jungkook, are you thinking?"

Jungkook nodded and pouted a bit. "Yeah, just like how I usually do."

Yeri's eyebrows crinkled. "I don't see anything."

Jungkook stared blankly at her. "That's weird, right?"

"Extremely."
