"Hello, this is Korea's quickest growing psychic service, how are you doing Songho?" Yeri said through her teeth.

"Yeri!" Songho said in a chipper voice. "How is my favorite psychic doing today?"

"You know that you are being charged right?" Yeri asked in a stale voice, picking some of the non-existent dirt that was under her nails. "Should we continue with the small talk or should we get on to the reading?"

"You see Yeri," Songho said with a familiar anticipation in his voice. "I heard that you were a trainee at SM Entertainment when you were a young girl. There are even rumors saying that you should've been in Red Velvet."

Yeri sighed, annoyed with how people could find out her past so easily these days. "It must be a different Yeri then." Yeri lied.

"Are you sure?" Songho asked, not completely trusting what Yeri was telling him.

"How can I not be sure?" Yeri asked, her tone going up in frustration. "Just because we have the same name doesn't mean that we are the same person. Now do you want to know about your wife only marrying you for your money, or should I just hang up."

"She what?" Songho asked, clearly startled.

"So now I caught your attention?" Yeri asked with a smirk.

"Yeri!" She heard from across the office. Yeri raised her head above the cubicles with the phone wedged between her chin and shoulder. Yeri beamed to her best friend, Koeun, racing to her.

"Sorry, Songho, but your time is up." Yeri said quickly. She heard him scream something into the line before Yeri slammed the work phone into its place, ending the call all together.

"Is that creep still bothering you?" Koeun asked, glancing at the phone that Yeri just slammed down.

Yeri subtly shook her head. "Nothing like that." Yeri said in a low voice.

Koeun smiled and hooked her arm to Yeri's. "That's a relief. Come on, let's go out."

Yeri nodded and picked up her jacket that was thrown into the chair earlier in the day. She opened the top drawer in her desk and pulled out her keys and wallet.

"Let's go." Yeri said happily.

"Hold up, Yeri." Yeri heard a familiar voice say behind her and she cringed.

Yeri looked at Koeun with despair and turned to the voice with a brighter expression. "Yes, Mr. Kim?"

Her team leader smiled at Yeri with warmth that she wasn't expecting. Kim Heechul was probably one of the weirdest team leaders that she had ever experienced. Sometimes he wanted nothing to do with her and sometimes he wanted everything to do with her.

"Where are you going?" Heechul asked with a gummy smile.

Yeri glanced at the large wall clock that was on the nearest wall. "It's time for me to go home."

Heechul didn't have to glance at the wall clock to know that. "I understand. But I also understand that you just hung up on a paying customer. Not only that, you declined any small talk with him and rushed his call."

Yeri sighed and looked at Mr. Kim with almost hatred. "I'm sorry sir, but the customer was asking me personal questions that made me uncomfortable to answer. In the working handbook, there is a clause that says that any employee is allowed to deny a call from a customer if they are asking intruding questions that makes the employee uncomfortable."

Yeri could feel Koeun's grip on her arm tighten, almost as if Heechul was going to rip the pair apart, Koeun would go with Yeri.

"I understand that Yeri, but you are our most requested psychic here. You need to be open to others and you will get more clients as well as more pay." Heechul explained with a sweet expression that made Yeri even more nervous.
