Leaning against the counter with her head in her hands, charlie took a deep breath as Thomas put away the leftovers from their late dinner. "I'll just have to go home." Charlie sighed.

"Home? Like wisconsin home?"

She just nodded and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. "we have break for about two weeks soon, I'll go back then."

"You're gonna drive there alone?"

"I'd imagine everyone is gonna be going home for the break, so yeah probably. Get clothes, new things. The whole, nine yards I suppose." She huffed out rubbing her tired eyes again.

The two just stood in silence for the longest time. Lights rang through the silent apartment, her breathing form rising up and down under his stare. Of course her mind was strictly on the state of her belongings, but his was split on her.

Of course she had to have felt the same when they shot the scene. The way they both carried the scene beyond Wes's expectations, it's because they just felt it. It had to have been real. They had been dancing around one another for a while, each could tell. But he invited her to stay in his apartment for a reason.

Walking around the counter slowly, he shook his head and grabbed his jacket. "come on." He tossed it to her and she caught it as soon as she turned around.

"What?"

"We're going for a walk."

Immediately rising to her feet, she followed thomas out the door. "to where?"

"Not sure, but we're bound to find out."

Walking down the less busy streets, charlie stuck close to Thomas with their heads down. Night was their best chances of a normal life, but there were still cameras everywhere.

Eventually though, getting away from the crowded area, the pair reached a familiar area. "oh, this place." She smiled knowing it from their first adventure.

Charlie stepped forward slowly approaching the old wooden swing. It creaked back and forth with the wind, and as she stepped forward, he watched her walk around it. "charlotte." He choked out through the cool night air.

The look she sent him over her shoulder though, the way her hair shimmered over her back in the faintest of curls, it made him swallow. In a nervous motion, he stuffed his hands deeper into his pocket. If she didn't feel the same, it would ruin everything.

But the thrill in his heart, the drive in his joints, it all sent his mind into a blur. She sent his mind into a blur.

As soon as the look in his eyes burned to a flame, he could see her stature change. Her smile faded, her stiff posture loosened, and she waited.

With a swallow of fear, Thomas stepped forward in slow agonizing steps. Then, as she backed away slightly until she was against the tree, he placed his hand beside her head and leaned forward. Neither moved, both froze, and his eyes lingered. "I know it isn't the best time..." he started and stared down into her eyes. "but it's been driving me mad." Then, his lips hovered over hers. "I need to know if it's real."

She stared right back, chest still and fists clenched. Deep inside, charlie knew it was a bad idea. But the desire for it to happened out weighed it all. "then why dont you find out." her voice was at a low whisper.

Not taking a second longer, his pressed his lips against hers in the gentlest way possible. At first she didn't move, and it worried him beyond belief. But as soon as she felt her stand on her toes, and her hand wrap in his hair, he completely dove in.

Their lips moved in sync, hands roaming with minds of their own. It was electrifying, peaceful, and relaxing.

Eventually his hand wrapped around her thigh and he lifted it from the ground and to his waist. Then, pressed firmly against her, he placed the other one in the same position.

Time passed. Seconds turned to minutes, and neither pulled away. It was an expression of something they had been begging to say over the past few months.

Losing breath though, they pulled away and foreheads pressed against one another. "this is totally unprofessional" she whispered with a smile on her face.

He just chuckled and brought her closer. "when is there a time in our lives when we are?"

With her arms around his neck, she kissed him again shortly. "we'll just have to keep it our little secret then."

"A professional secret." he added.

Chuckling again, she nodded. "a professional secret."
