Something Only Two Notice

Charlie stood at the end of the hall impatiently tapping her foot. Along side her was all of her companions other than the Maze Runner Cast. Josh, Jen, Chris, Chris Hemsworth, Liam, woody, Scarlett, Jeremy, Robert, mark, samuel, Andrew, Steven, Lauren, Dania, Chandler, and other members from the walking dead cast. All of the directors planned to just meet at the conferences.

A groan of impatience and frustration escaped Charlie's lips as she stuffed her phone into her pocket. Jeremy immediately smiled hearing her do so. "Relax kid, we'll be out of here soon."

"But Jeremy!" She turned towards him. "We need to go now! Norman's got the bar and grill reserved just down the street and I haven't seen him in forever and I just-"

"CHARLOTTE!" Chris rolled his eyes groaning "you're such a bum!"

"I'm a bum?!" Her voice grew higher. "says the man who called me at three in the morning to come let his damn dog out!"

"I was sick!"

Charlie's voice drug with her words "you were three feet away."

"Okay you two." Andy smiled. "Charlotte love, if you want to leave go get your friends."

"Thank you!" And with that she was busting down the hall banging on all of their doors. Each one came out almost immediately at her pleas, but Thomas's door is where she hesitated. There, she slapped the wood and called in to him. "Tommy!! Are you ready?!"

There was no response.

Confusion washed over Charlie as everyone else waited in the hall. "Tommy?" Turning her head to the others, everyone sent her a look.

With a long breath, she put her back to the door and crossed her arms. She was not leaving until he came out. Time passed and she kept calling his name. Finally, the door clicked behind her and all of her support fell backwards.

Grabbing the door handle out of instinct, a burst of laughter left her lips as she felt her back collide against a set of legs. Then, hands were wrapped around her arms and his beautiful laughter began to ring through her head. "what are you doing love?"

Through fits of laughter, she tilted her head upwards and locked eyes with him. "waiting for my ride I suppose, what took you so long?"

A sudden rush washed through her, and a tingling feeling in her stomach blossomed. Thomas reached out and grabbed her hands hoisting her to her feet. "Sorry. I was on the phone with my mum. Now come on, up you go." Knowing what she wanted, he stepped in front of her and prepared himself.

Withing seconds she was leaping upwards wrapping her legs around his back. As they moved outwards, the door closed behind them and Charlie wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love piggy back rides."

"I know." He smiled adjusting his grip so it was tired.

Approaching the others, they all giggled at the site while Jennifer pulled out her phone taking video. "it's about time." Dylan whined.

"Hey!" Charlie countered pointing at Dylan's. "he was talking to his mum!"

They all chuckled at her pronunciation of mum.

"Well then, let's go!" Josh hollered.

With a slight hop, she was motioning Thomas forward. "onwards and forwards noble steed!" He didn't budge. So, taking in his sour look, she just smiled. Within seconds a soft kiss was planted against his cheek. "Better?" Her eyebrow rose.

The red flushed Tommy's cheek quickly, so he swallowed and nodded with a yes. Chris managed to let out a loud awgh and the others laughed. Soon, they were all piling into the elevator. The whole ride down, not once did the red fade from thomas's cheek, and not once did Charlie climb off of his back. Her grip on him growing tighter and tighter with every descending floor, something that only the two of them managed to notice.
