Americans Like Revenge

The entire group waited at the landing strip for her. Each were anxious to see their friend again, and more importantly, meet her cousin.

"So how do you think she's going to take it." Will asked looking down the terminal.

Rebecca just kept staring at her phone. "she'll be stuck to her cousin like glue, but once she realizes we knew. That's a whole new story."

Suddenly, Kaya's phone wrong. Immediately she answered it and stepped away. "who is it?" Thomas asked.

Covering the speaker she smiled. "Nick."

Kaya's new boyfriend.

Thomas looked right to dylan. The sad expression on his friends face sad it all. Meanwhile, in the background Kaya seemed to be in hee own conversation.

Then finally, Ki let out a holler. "there she is!"

Turning at the sound of his friends voice, thomas's heart skipped a beat. Charlie hadn't even showered yet. The girl was still covered in dirt, fake blood, and god knows what. But most noticeable of all, she was practically hanging off of her cousins arm.

As soon as her and Thomas caught eyes though, a devious look worked it's way across her face. "Thomas you son of a bitch!" Sprinting as fast as she could, charlie leapt into the air wrapping herself around him. "you totally knew and didn't tell me!"

Thomas knew it was supposed to be some funny teasing moment, but having her throw herself at him made his heart freeze. "i'm sorry love." He choked through. "but I was told not to tell." The rest came out with a chuckle.

Seeing her dirt and fake blood now scattered on him too, she smiled at her work. "Secrets don't make friends guys."

"Oh come on Sanders." Dylan snapped back to himself and patted her shoulder. "it was really funny."

"Oh ha-ha-ha." She mocked wiping his hand away. "just remember paybacks a bitch. Anyway, guys, this is my cousin Zach." Motioning behind her she introduced the man standing behind her. "he's my baby cousin."

"Easy Charles." He stood next to her proudly.

"Alright." She corrected herself. "personal body guard."

With that, her arms were wrapped around his waste. "Sam!' zach looked to see Sam. "how have ya been?"

"Good kid, better now to see you're in one piece." The two shook hands as Charlie took thomas's side.

As they converses slightly, so did Thomas and Charlie. "what's up with Dylan?" She whispered. Both looked to their friend, he was watching Kaya out of the corner of his eye. Meanwhile, she was fixated on her phone.

Thomas let out a long breath. "kaya got a boyfriend"

"No..."

"Yeah."

Charlie just sighed. "I'm away for three days."

"Well it's good to have you back." He swept an arm around her then placed a kiss to her forehead. "and just know not telling you was literally killing me."

Charlie chuckled and began walking with him as the others joined in. "next time go easy on yourself. But I will remind you again Tommy, I'm American. Americans like revenge. "

He only chuckled.

As they got towards the exit, she leaned towards him. "you should go talk to him." Charlie motioned towards her cousin. "I think you two would like each other."

"Yeah?"

"Well I mean hes got a bromance with Chris and Norman, but I'm sure you'll develop one too. Take dylan with, he could use you right now."

"And what are you going to do?" He quirked and eyebrow towards her.

Charlie just sighed and looked over to Kaya. "I'm going to need some serious girl time."

"You just don't rest do you?" The two entered the parking lot.

Charlie just adjusted her grip around his waist tighter, in return he pulled her closer by the shoulders. "not when it comes to things I want."
