Phoebe's POV

I scan through the pages nervously. I can physically feel Louis's eyes on me and I try my best to read. Just as I get into the book in front of me, the door opens. I look up and see Dylan. I wide smile grows across my face. He didn't forget. He's just a bit late. I walk over to him and he gives me a quick peck on the lips. I blush suddenly, forgetting Louis was sitting right behind us. I turn and see he's focused on his book.

"So, you're about twenty minutes late Dylan." I say and he puts his head down.

"I know. I'm sorry. I didn't get home until three and I overslept." He says and I poke his chest so he'll look up at me.

"It's fine." I say and smile.

"So, what are your plans today?" I ask and he shrugs.

"Well, I don't have to go into work until seven." He says.

"We could do dinner." I suggest.

"Sure. You can kick Rebecca out for the hour and we'll have your place just for us." He says and winks at me. I realize what the wink means and hide my face in my hand.

"You're a pervert." I mumble and he laughs.

"I'll tell Rebecca to hang with Harry and his roommate tonight." I say and Dylan nods. I prop myself up on the counter and Dylan rests his elbows beside my hips.

"When do we get to hang out at your place? I've seen it once." I say and he shrugs.

"I love your place." He says and makes a kiss face at me. He peeks one eye open and I roll mine. I peck him on the lips and laugh.

"Fine. My place it is. That means I have to clean and get dinner." I say. He just shrugs at me.

"Or we could just hang around." He says and I push his shoulder.

"Like I said before, you're a pervert." I joke.

"Only to you." He says and I smile.

"So, dinner tonight, some fun, and I'll head to work from your place." He says and I nod.

"No cancelations." I say and he shakes his head.

"Of course not." He says and I kiss him one more time before he leaves. He waves goodbye and I go back to reading my book behind the desk.

"So that's Dylan." Louis says. Here we go.

"Yeah. He's great." I say and smile.

"He looks like a player. How long have you two been together?" Louis asks.

"Two months." I say.

"Hmm. I give it another week." Louis says and my jaw drops.

"Excuse me?" I ask.

"He just looks like the type of person that doesn't stay in relationships long. Seems like he moves around a lot." He says and I shake my head.

"Out." I say and he looks surprised.

"What-"

"Out Louis." I say.

"I have to buy my book." He says. I walk over and snatch it from him.

"Get out." I say. He quickly leaves the store. What a dick. I walk to the series section and put Percy Jackson away.

"Louis get out-Oh sorry. Hi welcome to Deans." I say to the woman who walks in.

"Oh it's fine. Have any of the Kelly Keaton series?" She asks and I nod.

"Which ones?" I ask.

"Well, my daughter read the first one and absolutely needs the other two. I think the first one is called Becoming Darkness." She says and I pause.

"You mean Darkness Becomes Her?" I ask and she nods.

"That's it!" She says excitedly.

"Your daughter has excellent taste. I love that series." I say and find her the other two.

"She simply can't live without finding what happened next. Real cliffhanger that's been driving her crazy." She says and waves her arms around. I lead her to the counter and tell her the total.

"She'll love it." I say and she nods.

"Thank you so much." She says and leaves the store.

"You're welcome." I say with a warm smile. Then I go back to my book that waits in front of me. The door opens and I look up to see Louis.

"I already told you to leave." I say and he shrugs.

"I want to buy my book." He says.

"And I told you to leave Louis." I say more sternly and he rolls his eyes.

"I'll just stand here all day." He says stubbornly.

"Then buy your book and leave." I say.

"I'll just sit on the chair and read." He says and I groan.

"Why do you like bothering me?" I ask and he shrugs.

"Because you're easy to bother." He says and goes over to the shelf with Percy Jackson on it. He picks up the book and goes to the chair.

"You're an ass." I say.

"Sh. I'm reading." He says and I roll my eyes.

*

I finally get away from Louis at four. I mean, I have to walk home with him, but I ignore him the entire way. I get looks from some people on the street, but I'm okay when I get to the building and Dylan is waiting inside with some type of flower. I walk up and hug him. I see Louis calmly walk up the stairs and then I kiss my boyfriend. I'm no fan of public displays of affection. After that, we head upstairs and into the flat.

"Who is that guy?" Dylan asks once the door closes.

"Louis. He's Harry's roommate." I say.

"Is he nice?" He asks and I laugh.

"No he's an ass." I say and he laughs with me.

"Where's Rebecca?" He asks, sitting down on the couch.

"Across the hall or at work. I'm not sure yet. She hasn't texted me." I say.

"She's odd." He says.

"Yeah, but I love her." I say and hear the TV turn on.

"I'm going to start making pasta." I say.

"Oh good." He says flatly.

"Why are you so bored?" I ask and he stands off the couch.

"Because all I want to do is hold you right now." He says and comes behind me. He pulls me into him and squeezes me.

"Or we could have fun first." He says and I blush.

"You're such a pervert Dylan." I joke and he starts kissing my cheek. He slowly makes his way down my neck. I turn around in his arms to kiss him. The kiss gets heated quickly. I find his arms lifting my legs up. They wrap around his torso as he carries me to the couch. He climbs on top of me and I find myself lost in a trance.
