Phoebe's POV

I was packing my bags to head home. No one else was awake yet, nor did they know what time I planned to leave. I was going to stay until lunch time and then go back. Rebecca was returning tonight, as well as Louis. Apparently Harry was back already, at least that was according to Louis who had texted me this morning. So, it would just be Harry and me for a little bit.

I head into the main room to see Dahlia sitting on the couch. I guess someone was awake. She hasn't said a word to me this entire time, and I know that she's shy, but a simple hello would be wonderful. I give her a small smile while I head into the kitchen to fish out some cereal. I get my breakfast ready before heading into the other room, sitting on the chair near Dahlia.

"Good morning." I say simply. I've said it every morning, but not much has changed. I see she's watching an episode of Wipeout.

"I love this show." I tell her, turning to see a reaction. She looks a bit stunned.

"It's-It's really funny." She says. I look at her for a minute and smile.

"It's so funny, everyone seems so clumsy, but I'd probably be first out!" I tell her and she laughs quietly.

"What other shows do you watch?" I ask. I might as well keep her talking while I have her.

"We have lots of the same shows, but I like a lot of, uh, science shows." She says.

"Oh, so you like Doctor Who?" I ask.

"Oh, no, I meant actual science shows. I watch shows on the stars and how people make things. I do like Doctor Who, though." She says.

"Oh that's so cool. My friend Rebecca is the same way. She's one of those smart girls that always wonders how things are made." I tell Dahlia.

"Where do you live?" She asks.

"I live in London, with a roommate." I say.

"Oh is that the Rebecca one?" She asks.

"Yeah. We've been best friends for a few years now, so we naturally just lived together." I say.

"You said you have a boyfriend a few days ago, what's he like?" She asks.

"Well, his name is Louis, and he's a very funny guy. Uh, he's handsome, goofy, a bit stubborn, but sweet." I tell her.

"He sounds great." She says.

"Anyone special for you?" I ask.

"No, no. No one for me. I'm looking for that later." She says.

"Good. Boys are dogs in high school." I say and she laughs.

"Hey, not all boys." I hear my brother say behind us.

"All but Thomas." I announce and Dahlia laughs.

"So, you two are friends." He says.

"Yeah, make new friends every day." I say. She smiles shyly and looks back at the TV.

"When are you leaving?" Thomas asks.

"In a hurry to get rid of me?" I ask.

"No, just wondering how long we have left." He says.

"I'm not disappearing, I will be back soon." I say.

"Good, well, I'll hold you to that." He says.

"Don't worry. If you ever need anything you can call." I say.

"What number? We don't even know where you live." He says, sounding a bit frustrated.

"I'll leave it on the counter, both of them." I say calmly.
